Salam Alaikoum...

Oh i didnt know u guys had one too! I thought it was only for grade 11.

Anyways mine wasn't so bad, but i think i messed up a little...just a lil!

We had to write a french composition of 500 words about globalization, stating 3 major arguments where u have to support them with very good facts. And u had to have a position as well, either u were against or with globalization. And all i could think of was 2 arguments, but then God knows how...i ended up with three. And I probably invented french words that never even existed before!

Ah well..Allahu a3lam...i hope i did well. Good luck to all of you who have exams coming up. I still got like 3 more french exams!

DAMN MINISTER

Hey Sis,

Ah mine was a 'Nouvelle Litéraire'. 500 words....i wrote 609 :P I had to show the psychological transitions in a person. It had to do with courage and determination. I wrote a story about a quebecer that converted to Islam after visiting western iran to save iraqi refugies. And then his family rejects him, etc. And he finds comfort within a local mosk ^_^ B) . I better do good ! :!!!:

Salam,

Bro hassan that was their jafaria/husseiniya which is called shahe najaf (if im not wrong).. which was burnt down. jana.org is just a site that bro D is involved in running.

Selam alaycom,

www.jana.org is the site for JANA (Jafria Assoc of North America). They are building a new mosque/community center in NY, called Shah-E-Najaf, which is going to cost about $1,500,000. They already have $800,000 and need to raise funds to complete the project. The current building they are using is the one that burnt, not the new one which is under construction. The old one cost $20,000 to repair to use until the new one is done... The site has been down for a few hours in the past couple of days, but is working for me now.

Inshalla they will be able to raise the funds. If any of you can help, please do so. May Allah reward your efforts.

Peace,

Um Ali

I go to Greaves Adventist Academy not to westminister.

I didnt mean the actual school "Westminster", i meant the other english school in that area called Wagger or something like that.

What grade are u in anyways?

I thought that "Greaves" was a primary school only, unless im confusing it with the other highschool on De Maisoneuve??

I dunno, im lost! I know that there are two english schools on De Maisoneuve and im not sure which one is called Greaves...

BTW, Teenage_youth...the school is right beside MCQ :D

Selam alaycom,

Sis Heaven: hypothetically speaking ofcourse: what would brother Ali / Shiachat Admin do to someone who didn't do his homework and when his teacher sent 'someone' (cough shiachatmoderator cough) to 'check up on him' and he threw water balloons at her and kicked her out of his house.......... (next time you go there, my advice is: take an umbrella/raincoat and duck) :P

Khala Jlainqatar is right on JANA site and association.

Greaves Academy is primary and high school. In Westhill and Somerled.

Next year it will be high school only and in Westhill. NO PRIMARY.

There are 2 English schools in De Maisoneuve Kells Academy and Greaves Academy

Actully between Westhill and Cavendish there is Benny so MCQ is not exactly near My school but close to :P

I am in grade 8.

Sis Heaven: hypothetically speaking ofcourse: what would brother Ali / Shiachat Admin do to someone who didn't do his homework and when his teacher sent 'someone' (cough shiachatmoderator cough) to 'check up on him' and he threw water balloons at her and kicked her out of his house.......... cough cough shiachatmoderator is a wrong spelling mistake cough cough

It should be shiachat moderator. tsk tsk tsk tsk.

I told her not to come with HOMEWORKS so she don't need to have homework, and this is personal not ShiaChat, so Ali may kick me out of ShiaChat but not my own life. tsk tsk.

By the way, she is welcomed anytime WITHOUT homeworks.

If it was with HOMEWORKS so she is never welcomed. B)

Yeah let her wear a raincot and umbrella I would open the door and throw a baloon on the face. I would attack in all ways.

Selam alaycom,

Hassan: shiachatmoderator is like that between coughs to hide it. I guess you figured that one out. 2 points extra credit for you. Admin takes shiachat and moderators personal. Please look both ways before crossing the street and avoid speeding white Nissans. Allah yahfudhick!

You should make up your mind. You are the one who made an English forum. Now you don't want homework. Stop being fickle.

Peace,

Um Ali

ok good.

2 credits extra = no doing Phonics homework YEAHHHHHHHH

I don't like phonics I should delete it ;)

What does fickle mean. I WON'T LOOK AT THE DICTIONARY FOR IT, even if you gave it as a homework I would copy/paste it and do any kind of sentence.

J'ai n'aime pas anglais devoirs.

I hate French homeworks too.
