I was wondering if Anyone knew if Ayatollah Khamenei's right hand was a prostetic or paralized. the reason I ask is because Imam Khomeini stated in his book that one should not prey behind a person who was an amputee, and In khamenei's book on the practical laws of Islam, he upholds the ruling but only on the grounds that their disability affects their prayer. IE if their hands were missing, since they couldnt do sajda right, this would affect their prayer, but if their ears or eyes were missing, it would be ok because these are not used in prayer. Their tongue would matter because it would obviously affect their ability to pronounce the prayer out loud. Anyhow, this got me thinking... how does that affect Ayatollah Khamenei?

I understand it is safe to say, that the current elected fallible who has proclaimed the position of wilayat al mutliqah has a prostetic right hand.

Imam Khomeini stated in his book that one should not prey behind a person who was an amputee, and In khamenei's book on the practical laws of Islam, he upholds the ruling but only on the grounds that their disability affects their prayer. That is true which you have stated, as i have also read this from the following:

Thats a good question. From the information and facts available it would suggest the current proclaimed WF is unable to lead congregational prayers due to having a loss of limb which effects obligatory actions which are an essential part to prayer.

My question to the followers of the WF is to clarify:

1: under what pretext does the WF lead congregational prayers?

2: Is a prostetic hand enough to subsitute for a loss of limb?

3: does the position of wilayt al mutliqah enable the WF too fall beyond this comman law?

Is this not a limitation for a fallible who has proclaimed the position of wilayt al mutliqah to be unable to lead the most important obligatory daily worship.

It is a PARALYSED hand, not prosthetic.

Khamenei was the victim of an attack aimed to assassinate him in June 1981 which paralyzed his right hand.

And OH SHIA:

Just IGNORE Malik Ul Mowt's attempt to strike fitnah and arguments. I remember when I used to do such things, my blood would boil when nobody would bite my bait to argue!

He is not an amputee.

The hand is not missing.

Its not a prosthetic hand.

Its his own hand.

so why would that disability effect prayers as long as he could put his palm on the ground?

ok

his hand was blown off along with some of his cheek and lost most of his teeth on his right side of his mouth in a bombing by the munafiqeen (mujahideen khalg a group of saddamist iranian traitors) who put a bomb in his microphone while he was talking and blew up in his face and secondly his hand was salvaged somehow and reattached but it doesn't work. in fact hes had like 4 assasination attempts on his life by these terrorist animals but he will always live and his hand will be over our heads from east to west
