when will ramadan start?

From what I hear, Ramzan begins either 24h of 25th of September.

On a similar thought - two questions.

1) When can you break the fast? Sunset or maghrib, since they're separated by 15 minutes?

2) Also, the iftar/fajr time issue - which is it you begin the fast? I've heard iftar is the recommended, but it's technically still okay until fajr starts.

1) I'm not so sure but my family and I have always broke our fast at maghrib. You should, however, wait around 5-10 minutes after maghrib just to be on the safe side.

2) I always thought 'iftar' referred to the time when you broke your fast. :huh: My family and I stop eating 5-10 minutes before fajr.
