And muslim votes....

Seriously, I would be embarrased to celebrate anything this former lapdog of Saddam said, even if he was supporting my position.

One of George's endearing shennanigans

Are you still sure you need more idiots like George speaking for your cause?

Watch the ending. Gotta love the look on his face.

Ironically, he's the head leader of the party called "Respect" . What a joke.

This fool does things for only his interests. he joined the labour for his own interest, he praised saddam for his own interest and now he's using muslims for his own interest.

US investigators have trawled through bank accounts, secret Iraqi papers and interviewed scores of witnesses to uncover the paper trail leading from the shadowy dealings of Saddam Hussein's regime to a bank account allegedly belonging to George Galloway's wife.

The story begins in Baghdad under Saddam's dictatorship. Placed under huge pressure by UN sanctions, the regime responded with a vast and illicit scheme to rake off cash from the UN's oil-for-food programme.

Under UN rules, all the money raised from oil sales under the scheme should have been used to buy food and medicine for Iraq's most vulnerable people.

Instead, the regime invented a scam (which Iraqi ministers bluntly termed "Saddam's Bribery System") whereby some lucrative oil allocations were handed to "friendly" businesses and influential figures abroad.

The report claims that among the beneficiaries were Mr Galloway, his wife Dr Amineh Abu Zayyad and their old friend, a Jordanian businessmen, Fawaz Zureikat.

According to documents uncovered by the US Senate, on July 10 2000, Iraq's State Oil Marketing Organisation executed contract reference M/8/35 with a firm it referred to as "Aredio Petroleum Company (Fawaz Zureikat)".

According to Tariq Aziz, Iraq's former deputy prime minister who was interviewed by the Senate on July 7 this year while in US custody, the contract was also designed to benefit Mr Galloway.

Mr Aziz explained that Mr Galloway received the contracts because he was a friend of Iraq. "These oil allocations were for the benefit of George Galloway and for Miriam's [sic] Appeal," he said. They had met on numerous occasions and discussed Iraqi support for Mr Galloway's political activities.

But because Mr Galloway was a well-known figure in Britain he could not run a business in Iraq, Mr Aziz said. It was therefore natural that he would choose a competent businessman to run his affairs in Iraq.

According to the report, it would have been difficult to operate the scheme without Mr Zureikat. Having been granted the rights to oil contract M/8/35 by Iraq, he then sold them to a Swiss-based company called Taurus.

Between Aug 31 and Oct 21 2000, five shipments of oil totalling 2,645,068 barrels were "lifted" by Taurus.

A month before the shipments began, the Swiss firm had transferred $740,000 to Mr Zureikat's Citibank account as a commission payment. It arrived on July 27.

A week after the Taurus payment, Mr Zureikat allegedly initiated a series of large payments around the world.

On Aug 3 2000, he sent $340,000 to the Mariam Appeal, a charity established to help an Iraqi girl suffering from cancer but which later became a radical campaigning organisation. It was established by Mr Galloway, employed his wife and later involved Mr Zureikat.

On the same day he paid $150,000 to Mrs Galloway's account with the Arab Bank in the Jordanian capital Amman. After commission, she received $149,980.

A week later, on August 11, Mrs Galloway transferred $24,950 to her Co-Operative Bank account in London.

The report notes that of the $848,000 in Mr Zureikat's Citibank account, more than $810,000 came from oil-for-food profits and concludes: "[The] transfer to Galloway's wife must have contained oil-for-food related money. The overwhelming balance of that balance was directly related to oil transactions."

Asked whether she had benefited in any way from oil sales, Mrs Galloway told the Senate she had "never solicited or received" any proceeds of oil sales on her own behalf or her husband's.

Other payments allegedly made by Mr Zureikat on Aug 3 2000 included $15,000 to the Bank of Scotland account of Mr Galloway's spokesman Ron McKay.

The report lists all the oil transactions allegedly relating to Mr Galloway, Mr Zureikat and a British-based businessman called Burhan Chalabi. Between 1999 and 2003, the men received the rights to sell a total of 23 million barrels of oil.

The Senate investigators also examined the documents found by The Daily Telegraph in the Iraqi foreign ministry in Baghdad in April 2003 after Saddam's overthrow.

Mr Aziz was asked whether he recognised an Iraqi Intelligence Service memo dated Jan 3 2000 about Mr Galloway's business dealings with the regime.

According to the report: "Aziz stated that he was familiar with the IIS letter because he had been responsible for supervising Galloway's affairs."

Former Iraqi vice-president Taha Yasin Ramadan, also in US custody and a member of the committee which approved oil payments to foreigners, "confirmed that Aziz nominated Galloway to receive oil allocations and that Galloway was allocated three million barrels for each phase of the [oil-for-food] programme".

I could have posted pictures of this butcher's loverboy, but that will only derive the topic at hand which it already has, but that's ok.

What part of this video are you tryin to mock? I suggest you watch this video again carefully. He IS blamin the ones who sent those troops in Iraq.

Even if he did take the money, which he has repeatedly denied and none of the Senators could provide evidence for such allegations, he is a LOT better than many Arab leaders who take the money as well as side with the Zionists. Heck no muslim in the west has had the guts to speak the way he has against the injustices in Palestine and lebanon. When you talk like that against the two most powerful governments in the world, you have every chance of being assasinated and what not. When they can kill their own president (kennedy) to suit their political manoeuvers, what security does a Member of Parliament have?

This "idiot" has beein campaigning for the Palestinians since before you were born, so try to hold your tongue about the man.

and wants to win the muslims vote now

Again, what is so wrong about wanting to represent the Muslim population of Britain? Who would you rather do it? "Sir" Iqbal Sacranie?

..hes a saddami..

What is a saddami? Is it like salami?

did anyone see him on big brother a few years ago..spreading [Edited Out] about how saddam is a good man and how all the iraqis love him

It was last year, and he never went out of his way to praise Saddam once. All he did was state that Iraq is in a terrible situation at the moment, similar to what it was like under Saddam Hussein - only that now Iraqis do not have the comfort of being able to go to the local market without a bomb going off, or some trigger happy American soldier raping and murdering their family in the night.

...rubbish..

Says you.

hes a hypocrite..

Point out the hypocracy then.

Watch the ending. Gotta love the look on his face.

What does that indicate?

And I posted it right after the link posted by wisken showing how low and unworthy he is.

Acting like an animal -pardon my language here- and sucking up from the hands of a woman "meoww purrr" and dressing up in this  dress, then saying israel are the terrorists ones, would you still take him seriously?

What he stated was valid yes...this however does not give him a credit for what he had done in the past.

Even if he did take the money, which he has repeatedly denied and none of the Senators could provide evidence for such allegations, he is a LOT better than many Arab leaders who take the money as well as side with the Zionists. If Ehud Olmert sympathized with the Iraqi people situation for some reason, would that make him a good person?

Point out the hypocracy then.

This was not directed to me but allow me to answer this for you.

The first thing Galloway said after his results at the elections where announced was

"This is for Iraq"!

Hypocrisy at its finest.

AS IF he "cares" about the iraqi people when he praised the filthy for his "courage, strength and indefatigability"

he's an attention seeker...only looks for what benefits him and his party. The only reason why he got elected and chosen mostly by muslims 'cause he's anti-war, but when it comes to the rest of his acts, no one utters a thing.

Now, check this out:

I have watched this Galloway clip several times now. It's difficult to avoid when there are numerous topics created depicting this video.

It's GREAT! Now, interview Galloway on CNN or Fox News.
