George Galloway in his public speeches always speaks with the utmost of respect for our beloved Prophet (pbuh) - and always says "Peace be upon him" whenever the Prophet (pbuh) is mentioned... he does the same for Jesus (as). Galloway has his quirks, that is for sure, but his heart is very much in the right place.

Now I don't know much about George Galloway. But according to George, he says he didn't mean to salute Saddam Hussein, but his people. I heard somewhere, that his actions were misunderstood/mistaken, which they constantly are.

So i've read..

George Galloway's most famous moment was at a US senate hearing where he made this amazing speach on Iraq:

I think the one thing I really like about George Galloway is that he gets straight to the point and makes it nice and clear.

thanks for that site Lion of London

Aren't their anti-terrorism laws, which don't allow individuals to glorify "terrorist" organizations? Or are different people, depending on their background and beliefs, being held to different standards? I'd love to see Muslims speak up this way, but I could just imagine the consequences.

I don't know much about Mr. Galloway, but I'd just like to say, that was excellent! :)

Ahahaha. BLOODY GOOD HIDING INNIT?

For the benefit of those brothers and sisters who aren't UK based, George Galloway was a member of the ruling Labour Party until he had major differences with them over the invasion of Iraq.

He formed his own party, Respect, and won the seat in Whitechapel/Tower Hamlets area of East London at the last election (beating the Labour incumbent in the process). This was mainly due to the support of the large local muslim community.

He has always been outspoken, pro-Arab and anti-US/Isr**li. The incident with Saddam Hussein (he has stated) was mis-represented. He was also smeared during the invasion of Iraq by a leading newspaper, alleging he received millions of dollars from Saddam in turn for his 'support' (based on documents found in Baghdad). He successfully sued the paper and went to the States to defend himself at a Congressional hearing.

He host's a popular radio show every Saturday and is known by all here.

I think his heart is in the right place; he is passionate, knowledgeable and not scared to voice his standpoint. Some accuse him of being a showman and pandering to Muslims to further his own career.

I watched the SKY interview. He made the SKY reporter seem ill-informed and put across the view from the 'other' side very well, sadly the chances of anyone doing similar on US news shows is very remote.

Thanks for the information. I knew very little about him, just that he was pro-Muslims. Now, he's my new hero.

Haha...what a champion.

I hope he converts to Shi'a Islam.

I'd hate to see someone like that go to hell.

LOL.

I sent this to everyone on my gmail list lol including someone who supports and recognizes Israel. He is one of my anti-poverty buddies.

"If this is what your success is, I wonder how your failure would look like" lol

Big up Mr Galloway. If this sorta thing comes from a muslim mouth(which is very rare maybe cuz they are not politically powerful), ppl don't listen cuz muslim=terrorist. His london demonstration speech is also really good. (There is this annoying dude though who keeps shouting Allah u akbar while he is giving the speech ya3ni shut the hell up and listen first)

What rubbish! The man did not support saddam

ROFL.

The guy is a hypocrite and a ba3thi from the roots...not to mention that Georgie's best friends is Tariq Aziz and when he's in prison he callls him a "political prisoner" and calls for him to be freed as well

He shook hands and saluted the men who butchered hundreds of shias...and his agenda is completely fixed.

Nevertheless, this was an interesting video..good points, and a good ownage.

I've seen the Interview three times now. I thought it was really good , I have not seen a presenter(of such a big news channel) being as small as an ant literally.Galloway had very good points and was speaking the truth. Indeed Israel is a terrorist state. Indeed Israel are losing the battle. Indeed HizbAllah are gaining support day by day. Indeed HizbAllah are defending their homeland, while Israel continue to kill unjustly and occupy others' land.

The Presenter in my eyes, has lost alot of dignity and respect(if she had any), by asking such stupid questions as Galloway put's it. InshAllah people will realise the truth and I hope this interview has helped them in reaching so. That Israel are the terrorist, Israel are enemy of Humanity. Israel Kill with no mercy

It is really sad to see that muslims have come to such a state that they cry over a drunkard MP who happens to speak against israel only because of good timing.

And muslim votes....

Seriously, I would be embarrased to celebrate anything this former lapdog of Saddam said, even if he was supporting my position.

One of George's endearing shennanigans

Are you still sure you need more idiots like George speaking for your cause?

He's not a drunkard- in fact, he doesn't drink at all. And he certainly was not Saddam's lapdog- he was against Saddam, and mind you, he didn't go over there to meet with him any more times than our darling Rumsfeld.

So people, get over your hatred. He's not afraid to speak the truth, and he deserves respect for that.

What George Galloway did was important - but it was not something that no one else could do just as well.

Look at what he did, he just spoke the truth. Why is it so difficult for Muslims here in the belly of the beast to speak truth when they come on TV? I have seen so many Muslims, who are invited, and then act like little meek mice... squeaking a few here and there.

But what is worse, is that if any Muslims did speak up like Galloway, he or she would not only cateqorized as some "extremist" by non-Muslims - but American Mulsims would bring out the condemnation brigade and issue a statement condemning the Muslim. And promise to root out this "extremist" from their midst.

sword ---- go back to your megaphone and find another target.

Agreed. The "muslims" on American media are pathetic... the best they can do is Reza Aslan... what a joke.

Firstly Saddam biggest lap dog was Donald Rumfeild and Ronald Reagean. Galloway was the only Politicans to condem the Gassing of the Kurds in 1987 by Saddam not etheir the British or US goverment did that at the time.

He condem the war against Iran the Iraqis where fighting.

P.s. it was hailrous becasue that women was trying to out samrt him and he laid it into her.

LOL I saw it live

but i think the funniest bit was the fact that this was a view of an 'open minded westerner' with no 'fundamentalist or extremeist' ie muslim background (remember the big brother saga?)

I mean for all those who say 'only extremeist fundamentalist muslims support hizbollah and are against isreal and zionism' this was a SLAP in their faces :!!!:

hehe, did u notice how gray she looked for the rest of the day?

"WHAT A SILLY PERSON YOU ARE!!!"

LOOOOOOOL

Funny seeing all these American born Muslims talk badly of Galloway even though what they know of him could fill the back of a postage stamp. "He supported Saddam, he's best friends with Tariq Aziz". Please read up on the man and watch his lectures and interviews before giving such ignorant comments.

And to the people who say that he's just using Muslims - I don't see you complain when the Tory party put up 5 candidates in a posh constituency during elections, or when the BNP put up loads of candidates in a deprived and mostly white constituency. It's called politics, Galloway has always been supportive of the Muslim people and has always been a socialist - so why the surprise that he goes to areas such as Bethnal Green and Tower Hamlets in order to represent an otherwise unrepresented minority in parliament?
