Wahabi mullahs set ablaze a copy of the Holy Quran at Mehfil-e-Zainabia in Blackburn, UK. The Shabihs (replicas) of Alam (flag) of Hazrat Abbas (as) and Cradle of Shahzada Ali Asghar (as) were also destroyed in the arson attack on Tuesday. Police have arrested a mullah, reports said.

The incident comes after an Ashura-e-Thani procession, that was organised by Shian-e-Ali (A.S) at Blackburn on Sunday, 6th April.

The Mehfil-e-Zainabia mosque, in Logwood Street, was badly damaged by fire and smoke.

On Monday, a man walked into the Imambargah, and set everything on fire. After people saw smoke comming out of the Imambargah, thet informed the fire department and police. A wahabi was later caught, since eye witnesses had seen him escaping the scene of crime.

The man arrested by police was released on bail after preliminary investigation.

DCI Neil Smith, said: "We are investigating an arson attack and are currently holding someone in custody.

"We are working closely with the mosque and are keeping them up to date on the progress of the investigation"

Thier hatred blinds them and in anger they don't know what they're doing. This is why anger is haraam. They have gone and burnt a Holy Book, The Holy Book, the very same one that they "love" dearly, that they learn off by heart and teach to their children. Simply because it was in a SHIA mosque. It was no longer their Holy book but one of many objects in a Shia Mosque.

May Allah open these peoples eyes.

No Sis, these people might have regard for the book but their hatred and brainwashing against Shias makes them blind (islamically) in their anger, which is why anger is haraam, and anything to dow ith the Shias will bite and annoy them.

They are stupid people, but the ones to blame are those who brainwash these illiterate people. I doubt that there was any educated person nvolved in this act. And thats why education is important in Islam. So you can think in a normal and proper way instead of listening to any old mulla.

A good example is when the Taliban passed the fatwa that killing one Shia was equal to doing 700 or 800 Hajj. If they would have said it to educated people, I doubt the Shias would have died, but in Afghanistan where the literacy level is low, suddenly villages of Shias became EMPTY! Shias were massacred.

Please be respectful. Their beliefs might be a little (did i say a LITTLE!?) messed up but that doesnt make them bad people.

If everyone they know has been telling them since the age of understanding that wahabbism is correct, jhas been promoting it, has been pumping the idea into thier heads that shias are fleas etc..... they havea disadvantage.
