if anyone has been sleepin an felt a massive weight on their body and felt they cannot move ...that aint sleep paraylysis..thats a jinn!!!!!!

BUT SAY LA HAWLA WILA QUWATA ILA BILA ALI IL ATHEEM IN THEM SITUATIONS AN THEY MOVE AWAY.

As soon as u say BISMILLAH they move away too!

I have a relative in Pakistan who is consistently hassled by a Jinn. He said that the Jinn would sit on him while he was a asleep, and when he awoke he could not move. Then he recited Quranic verses and the above in which case the Jinn eventually let go. Other cases he said that the Jinn hit him while he was asleep.

Since his first encounter he has consistently been reciting the Qu'ran and even did the whole recitation and recorded it for distribution (in Urdu). He went to see many specialists (they call them Hakim or somehting) and they said that the Jinn had been out on him by somebody and is trying to accomplish the task set.

Allah hu Alim

P.S When i went to meet my relatives i slept in the room next door. He said that the Jinn did not bother him B) .

There are a number of reccomended methods:

1) Making sure that there is nothing Najs in the house.

2) Recitation of Azaan, 7 times, in every corner of the House. ( particularly on Friday )

3) Less/No Music

4) Daily recitation of Quran, particularly last two surah, prevents any harm from other beings.

5) Darud Shareef - Ayatul Kursi - Darud Shareef

Fi-Amanillah

My Iranian friend told me that in the "olden days" in Iran there were public bathing houses, and that there was a belief that jinns used them at night, so no one would go in during the night. But my friend heard this story that someone had to use the washroom in the middle of the night, and went to the public washrooms and saw a man there and he started talking to him, and then he looked down and saw that the man had hooves (it was a jinn!) That would be scary!

Someone also told me there is a do'aa you can say to see a jinn, and once someone told me that their aunt did it and forgot and while she was sleeping, she felt breath on her face, and woke up with a donkey-man smiling at her.

There seems to be a lot of people who have had some sort of experience with jinns (no, your mom telling you about jinn followed by a whistling sound does NOT count as an encounter with a jinn).

So I thought I'd try to see the prevalence of it among shiachatters.

Please share your stories ... and please no fake stories.

salaams,

Its nothing new about the Jin , as The almighty has created mankind and jin for performing Allah Ibadat.

The fact in many house the human ans jinns share , that the reason in some house you hear different kind of sound and movement which you cannot see unless you have been exposded to it.

It is said that the (Masumin) / sinless , special the infant children do get to see such jinns.

ofcourse there are different kind of them some are good and some are evil ,

the evil are like what our Imam Ali encountred in mecca .

I do remember that during my visit to Qom / Iran , had been to the house of one of the very learn ulema and , the ulema in his building had a hall counverted to Husseiniya/Imambargha where, it was at the time after magrib and the ulema to us round the building to show us the size of hall.

as we left the hall , he switched off the main light and switched on the dime light.

and one of the person who was accompaning us asked the ulema the reason of living the dime light on, and he said in short lets not go into details but yes Allah has created Insan and jinns , the same way the human do their azadari, Jinns also perform the same zadari.

One one thing we he said during our talk , do you rember the encounter of Imam Ali with Jinns , Many jinns converted and the offspring have been sacarttered.

Laughingly the sayed said , C the insan have migrated to different corners of the world, so r the jin.

There was a male muslim patient once in the psych ward once during my practicum a while ago. One of only two muslims I ever saw in the psych ward. In session, he kept telling me how his nafs was appearing as a jinn, and was making him do inapporpriate things to the female nurses who would care for him. He firmly believed jinn were in his room. The psyc techs and doctors dismissed it as hallucination, and just increased his meds.

A friend of mine has a daughter who was about 5 years old at the time. The neighbours had a big dog that was chasing her.

She came back to the house safely and told the mother that "the nice man in the garden had shoo'd the dog away" - her mother was scared to know there was a man in her garden! The daughter pointed at "him" which the mother said was nothing and the daughter said "there he is he is walking away".

That family are very "spiritual" however - the girl's father had regular out of body experiences which he describes as terrifying. He is able to witness peoples' auras, etc. so it may be something that runs in a family that causes a human to be more "aware" of these types of surroundings around us.

It would be very interesting if someone who has knowledge of these matters could reproduce some narrations on encounters of the jinn with our imams for example, or narrations talking about the jinn.

I met the exact same jinn yesterday. It was late, about 2:30 AM when I went to sleep. And about 3:30 AM I couldn't lift my blanket, I was so weak. I began yelling, yet not a single word came out. I started chanting "bisim Allah al rahman al raheem", but I was still beaten by the jinn. Finally I lifted my blanket, but I saw nothing. I opened my eyes for 5 minutes afraid to cover myself with the blanket again.

Next time this happens, I won't even bother the jinn and let him continue doing his thing.

When I was a small child A small boy came too my window and told me he wanted me too meet some friends of his. I told him how can I go out side without waking my parents. He told me too walk through the wall. Well after sometime I went through the wall. Suprised that I was able too do that. I found my self one the other side of my room outside. He also told me that I could fly but this would be harder to learn. We continue down the street where there is a school just a block from my home. When we got there he called out then appear a boy and a girl he told them who I was. They called me princess and my name. Well the girl did. She was very excited too see me. The boy like showing off his jinn ability. He would say I bet you cant do that. Like fling. They try too teach me too fly. The girl told the 2 boys this would take me time. because this was harder then walking through walls. We played for awhile and me and the boy who came too get me talked with me at the swings. Then they had too leave before the sun came up. He walked me back home. Going though the wall was easier this time and didnt take too much time. If you think Iam talking about a dream Iam not this really happened too me and also many other things too. If I told you all you wouldnt belive it. Even this. Thats ok one day I will be able too prove it......... ;)

R u a jinn? And if you could do what they could do, and if you are human, then how do you know they were jinn? Maybe they were human like you.

Same sort of thing happened last night to me. One time I felt I was being beaten, and I heard it yelling or growling at me. I woke up with a bloody nose. I didn't know if it was from being beaten or possibly from the dry weather. All I know is I remember the noise, me yelling back at it, and being hit, me trying to hit back, hearing my roommate yell from accross the room, and me waking up with a bloody nose. I've felt suffocation before, and touching, but never violence. So I was kind of disturbed, but oddly I wasn't scared.

Before I can answer, is Disociative Identity Disorder (Multiple Personalities) the same thing as jinn possession?

The person who has disociative identity disorder will at times identify himself by a different name, and will do things that are totally out of his normal character and not remember them later. To me, this seems like what the christians call demon possession. Is this jinn possession? Is jinn possession of a person's body even possible?

Just for clarification, I'm not talking about myself. I'm talking about someone I once knew.

All I know is meds don't make jinn go away. But I know "majnoon" (striken by jin) means crazy or obsessed in Arabic.

One direct encounter where I actually saw some of the jinns was a while ago. They were kids & were playing around, 3:00 in the morning. They frooze (halted) as soon as they saw me. Anyways, I just walked pass them & they didn't bother me.

Later, Ive had some indirect encounters. E.g I visited one as a guest. He didn't appear in front of me but treated us very well. We asked for mangoes ( in winter there are none in Paksitan). So he brought some...and some candies.

Then there was another one who was very annoying. Initially I noticed his presence but thought that its just psychological. But later some funny things happened. It didn't continue on for long.

Fi-amanillah

(salam) So u mean u just 'casually' strolled past these jinn kids?

I answer yes to the vote but i am not sure what i saw.

I did not know that before urinating outdoor you must say Bismellah as you maybe urinating on jinns home or resting place. I only found this out the next day after telling my mother the story.

Even the Quran speaks about jinn I never believed or chose not to dwell on the matter. Until one night at about 1am walking to the 24hr petrol station and stopping to urinate behind a wall

on bush of flowers. After what happened I totally started saying al-Fatiha over and over again

all the way back home.

Can you beleive this, a jinn in Australia. People like elders have told me many stories about jinn even first hand experiences, but that was in other countries. I still did not take it seriously until i hand first hand experience.

Someone told me when you think of jinn, think of the worlds population and times it by nine.

no but my cousin says he has seen a lady peeping through his room who had long white hair cat green eyes very fair and was wearing full white two times! :!!!: :squeez: :shaytan: :excl:

When I first become muslim I was at a friends house. Well all her family went out for the evening and we were left er room. Any way we were talking about jinn and I think this was the reason for what happened next. While I was sitting with her on her bed I had this instinct to lock her bedroom door she has a ock on the inside. She told me not to be silly as all her brothers had gone out but I told her it just felt right. a few minutes later we started to hear scratches on bedroom door and we started to laugh thinking it was her younger brother playing a joke. then the door handle was pulled down slowly so we went to the door and told her brother to stop messing about. then the handle moved up and down violantly and we quickly realised it wasnt her brother so I looked under the door but couldnt see any feet. then we got really scared and started to scream . then it started pushing and shoving the door so hard that we thought the lock woud brake. so we pushed the wardrobe across the door while in hysterics. only then did we remember to say the fatiha and the last 2 surahs from the quran. then it stopped. while we didn't move from our spots until her brothers came back home. So my advice is not to speak about them too much as some bad ones may try and attack you. even while I have been writing this something moved in the corner of my room  so i am going to pray now(salam)

all these stories i honestly believe...................

i have heard that there are many jiins in pakistan?? true???

well anyway.... i have many stories but all that are loong.......

anyays ma-alsalame

btw if you wan to see a jin go on a mountain stay there 40 days and you have to be alone ufcourse and where there is absoloutly no one... no human there.... and then on the 40th night or day... you will be surrounded with jiins from all kinds....

If you show that you are afraid ( begin to scream etc) cry or something you will die but if you b strong and act bravely you will get a jiin..... one of them around you... then you can order hem anything you want except its your luck you might recieve a bad jiin or good good is basically good and bad will hurt your family....

in iran there are many stories about jin in the showers... say bismillah before opening the hot water tap.....

My aunties friend i spoke to her) she was on the motorbike in iran on a night and she was covered by mud so she went to the serdab to have a showe...

with the lights off and her so desperate to have a shower she turned on the HOT i said HOT water and burnt the jin. she was splasehed with water and blown away...like a pusk of wind against her.....

she stood shaking and..... yea....was mentally ill she saw sheiks for help tc and has recovered....

the funny thhing is that her daughter 7 yr old sees a jin.... she screams and yells at her mum to let her go down stair to the serdab at 1:00 am till morning to play with her so called friend..... her mum tries her hardest to convince her to sleep in her room but she refuses. Once her mum had grabbed her and put her to sleep but then she had gone in the middle of the night to the serdab with 2 cups 2 saucers and 2 spoons... amazing..... she was fast asleep....wih her friend....

scary ha??? oh welll.............................oo much typing yallahh bye
