You're such a Jentelman:

Taken on a bus ride from Qom to Mashhad.

A bone jarring, 14 hour bus ride actually.

And that's why bus drivers in Iran shouldn't be allowed to stick c.rap on their buses.

Some of them have this stuff, some of them have pictures of Googoosh, and ALL of them have Italian (or some other fancy foreign country) flag stickers. They are a parody of themselves, like smoke shops in Dearborn (which are all called "VIP Smoke Shop"... you know it's classy, because "VIP" is right there in the name!).

Marbles you make Pakistan look more fascinating that Ira

This is just the tip of the iceberg trust me. I have not travelled extensively in Pakistan so far nor I have done any serious photography there. I have plans though. Buddhist monasteries (Taxila), sufi shrines (eg Sehwan), Christian Churches (Lahore), medieval military forts (eg Rohtas, Darawar), and ruins of ancient Indus valley (Moenjodaro) are still waiting for my camera! Apart from nature and Karakorum mountain peaks in the north, the afore-mentioned are some major highlights of the country.

There is so much history, architecture and culture hidden underneath the headlines - the sharp eye of an intrepid traveller has lots of things to explore in Pakistan.

Chaotic, as the Scots would say, "Browlliant".

Some clicks from an art exhibition. This is thesis work of students at a local fine arts college here in Pakistan:

Some photos I want to post seem to reduce in size for some reason. How can I fix it?

So far as I know SC reduces picture size if you upload them directly on here. You can avoid this by uploading your pics on photo sharing hosts and link URLs on SC, which is what I do.

^walking over the log seems easier than that

And falling in the water even more easier!

A guy fell in the water and spend his evening in a sheet of cloth while his clothes dried. Man I was scared :squeez:

Alright, I revived this thread to show pics of my recent Euro tour 2012 but some of you made me post old pics from Iran and Pakistan

So back to Euro trip. On the advice of "Your sister in faith", I resume with. . .

Venice, Italy - a unique and fun city to be in.

Mabs---stop making me wistful and a bit envious; next time go to Tahiti and take photographs and make me real jealous---

Pack your rucksack and set yourself free, Hebrew!

Grieve not for I have some more pics to inspire you.

I confess I had to look up Tahiti. So much for being a globetrotter

Hapsburg Palace:

Someone tells a Hapsburg that there's a Austria, Hungary football match about to start.

So he replies, "who are we playing?"

Oh my sides.

An oldie but a goody.
