Afridi afridi afridi ! :D

This guy has really positioned pakistan for a possibility.he has given his homeland a chance to go for it.nobody else could do it ,lemme assure u ppl.that last indian stucked wicket & then this brilliant knock.he was near to beat the fastest 50 in tests, but either prefered his teams interest or probably did`t know about that.

This guy is getting on the nerves of the opposite teams now.i mean the heart-beats,the blood pressures, breathing everythings disturbed when hes batting. :D

Now lemme warn u ppl, dont u ever try to under-estimate the indian team.they re`still excellently placed to draw this game.though its not easy to score quick runs on this track, but staying on it is still not a problem.indian team will come under pressure only if their wickets keep falling.afridi is the man again who can do it.he has been infact more penetrating than kaneria & arshad.so inzi should be offering him with a 30-40 over spell atleast.

now theres a problem.what target should be given to the indian team for the 4th innings.they re` a wonderful batting side & terrific run-chasers,so anything less than 350 is not out of the question for them.pakistan should be very careful regarding the declaration.I would like to see indian openers out to bat for atleast 10 overs today.

I raise my prediction of a paki victory from 30% to 35% only.Indians have still got their options wide open.the man who can really prove to be the hurdle in pakistans way is Rahul Dravid.no other indian batsman knows how to stay at the wicket more than him.

This afridi guy has atleast given a touch of interest to this dull match.

Friend of all !

You have explained it all with sincerity.well done.

so the compulsion finally converting into a passion. :D

Actually not only the watching part, its the discussions during the match wich u make with ur family members, they add an additional glitter to the enjoyment. ^_^

Day is almost over. Pakistan should not declare unless they are 400 runs ahead. They will not be able to do it today. Probably 2 hours into it tomorrow.

Like I said, this is just too predictable. Easy draw B)

Tendulkar is  You say Hindu like it's a good thing.

AFRIDI 58 Runs, 34 balls

i don't know what kinda weed u on, but it's sure some strong shtuff. even though i don't know much about cricket but it seems obvious that pak will easily reach the four hundred lead and might even do it with several overs to spare, giving india the bat in these final overs.

Do not question me woman!

can we hold a vote to decide which side miss rizvi gets to be part of?

PLEASE??!??!?

I said they might not reach thier goal (ahead by around 400 runs) today. They might have to declare tomorrow.

What the hell is Inzimam thinking ??? He should have declared by now. We have nothing to loose in this game. Let the Indians have a bat today. Even no urgency in the way they are batting :o

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

No point in decalring this late in the day. He is probably trying to get as many runs as possible and let Indians bat starting tomorrow.

India will have a whole day to tap the ball around. Ofcourse there is always a chance of a collapse in the batting line up, but I am confident nothing of that nature occurs.

PAKISTAN DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are on my side, just remember that!

Of course its too late now, but he should have declared when the lead was around 340. And as I type this, the declaration has come....

340????????? we are playing against India, the best batting line up. I am sure they would have reached this target within 60 overs (90 or 100 overs remaining tomorrow  ) Inzi couldn't have done better in this situation. We would have loved to see the 400+ run lead but only 6 overs were left for the day and we were leading by 383 runs at that time. Good decision by Inzi to try and get sehwag out in the 6 overs that were left.Good cricket! This test is not going to be a draw for sure.

What a big mistake by Inzamam, he should have batted till the end yesterday, that would also have given Younis a century also. India now has the clear advantage. They need 357 to win, which is a reasonable target. Basically India will see how they are batting. If the runs are piling up and the wickets are safe, they will definitely go for the win. If wickets fall early, then they will definitely play for a draw.

The only chance Pakistan had was with a follow on. They are now taking a big risk.

India has 6.5 experienced batting specialist (.5 goes to Karthik). Only way Pakistan can win is if the best batting lineup in cricket collapses. The odds are against them.

Anyways, where is alishaan? Just remember to change your diaper before you get a spanking.

Inzimam bhai's old habit :squeez:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

We Pakis played too much for the records. The team is more important than any individual records, if he got his hundred, and match was drawn, all the blame would come for declaring too late. Inzi did the best thing by declaring when he did. 383 on the last day is no mean feat. Kaneria was turning the ball square in teh first innings and the Indians were not confident playing him; second innings it should be more helpful for him.

Zain, India only have 5.5 specialists, Ganguly cant bat to save his life let alone a test match.

^i think the reason was simple, if Pakistan would have been able to get a wicket, that would have put the indian team under great psychological pressure on the last day..........but that did not happen which tilts the pressure a bit....and i say "a bit" only because Pakistan has nothing to loose, a draw for them is just as bad as a defeat, so they should play with a cool head...

India on the other hand needs to keep their cool, and as it has been for the entire series, the 1st hour is of mighty importance today, IF India ends up loosing a wicket or two, within the first hour they would be under huge pressure but if they can mange to add another 100 without loosing a wicket, it would be an easy sail home after that

I know someone said that Inzi should be sacked as the captain if Pakistan looses this test.........knowing the history of PCB (and the foolish steps they have taken) it wont be surprising if they do so, BUT I really dont think so Inzi has done so bad (atleast in this series) Pakistan, which is traditionally a strong bowling side, went in with an extremly weak bowling side despite that, they managed to do fairly well (so far)

Honey, Just watch how afridi bowls kumble out immediately after the lunch, afridi scores a quickfire 80 and the rest build up a total of around 250 before the stumps. :o

Now THAT was scary. I take my amamah off to your cricketing predictions (pity they'll go wrong during the ODI's :!!!: ).

Result: Draw. Hussain Rizvi shuts his mouth, Alishaan reluctantly opens his mouth.

Wishful thinking my skinny french homebwoy. Be ready to show ur embarrased face on the 22nd of april.

Anything for the Ahlul-Sania cause. Not that India are going to lose.

This is what makes test cricket so interesting. People are being critical, but I think Inzimam couldnt have been more accurate with his declaration timing. It was so perfect you'd think the angel Jibraeel himself came down and told him to declare.

And of course, much credit to Shahid Afridi for the boost and the rest for theri consistence.

No point in decalring this late in the day. He is probably trying to get as many runs as possible and let Indians bat starting tomorrow.

waisay he should have let Younis finish his century..

There's no time for fancy little centuries. Its a team game and the timing was jsut right to go for that crucial first wicket which didnt fall on day 4 but eventually fell between drinks and lunch (it fell around 10 minutes ago) on 38 runs (run out). It was the all-important Virdener Sehwag himself.

What a big mistake by Inzamam, he should have batted till the end yesterday, that would also have given Younis a century also. India now has the clear advantage. They need 357 to win, which is a reasonable target.

The factor isnt the runs needed its the wickets. Pakistan could not allow the whole Indian batting line up only one day. They made the best of the last few overs to sacrifice a few runs for a potential wicket. In any case, if the bowling is good enough to take 10 wickets in a day there's no question of reaching the target, because after VVS there's no consistent batsmen, and before VVS there's no question of taking all ten wickets. It's only after 5 wickets have fallen that Pak can go for the finishing kill. The first 5 wickets are the first step to victory, and the rest is routine.

India are now about 94/1.

I stick to my old prediction that India will just about survive with 3 wickets left hanging. They wont win, they'll draw.

B) Keep reading, you will learn one day.

Where are you Hussain Pathan?

We will win this match

Inshallah

PS: even if we lose this match (which I am sure we won't), I would still commend Inzi on his brave decision. Younis' century or the 400 run mark was not as important as winning the match.

36.3 Mohammad Sami to Gambhir, OUT: Sami strikes! good length delivery,

pitched touch outside the off stump and swinging in, Gambhir gets

hit on the pad right in front of the stumps trying to work it away

on the leg side, loud appeal and Bowden's crooked finger goes up

WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo :!!!: NOW who is YOUR daddy zain?????

55.4 Shahid Afridi to Ganguly, OUT: Afridi strikes again! tossed up,

pitched wide outside the off stump and turning in, Ganguly tries

to drive it away on the front-foot, misses the target by miles and

        gets bowled, India five down!

:!!!:

Wasseee, we have done it. Pakistan ki yeh jeet mubarak ho

Now where is that sissy now?
