Advanced Member Gypsy Posted December 12, 2004 Advanced Member Report Share Posted December 12, 2004 This is a verbatim translation from the Kuwaiti daily Al-Qabas (December 9th, 2004): "Two Saudi clerics `Uthman Al-Khamis and Sa`d Al-Ghamdi issued a fatwa forbidding women from using the internet due to their "wicked nature." The fatwa added that "women are not permitted to open the internet except when in the presence of a male guardian who is aware of their harlotry and foxiness." - angry arab http://angryarab.blogspot.com/Here is the link to the fatwa in Arabichttp://www.alqabas.com.kw/research_details.php?id=7589

Advanced Member roya Posted December 12, 2004 Advanced Member Report Share Posted December 12, 2004 The Saudis are extreme but the basic attitude towards women as fitneh or deficient is found not just in Wahhabism, sadly.

Advanced Member NoorFatima Posted December 12, 2004 Advanced Member Report Share Posted December 12, 2004 (edited) (bismillah) "Two Saudi clerics `Uthman Al-Khamis and Sa`d Al-GhamdiActually, there was a huge debate on "Al-Mustaqilla" (A Ba3thi and a Racist channel to boost) between Uthman Alkhasees...sorry I mean Alkhamees and his poodle Alhgamidi representing "Sunnism" and between none other than Sheikh Ali Qasam (a Kuwaiti) and Sheikh Al-Ulama Muhammad Tijani Al-samawi (a Tunisian convert) - let me tell you one thing, you will never guess how many North African Arabs called in the show to profess their Shiism after that B@astard Uthman Alkhasees insulted Imam Ali and Lady Fatima. Advanced Member akhbari Posted December 12, 2004 Advanced Member Report Share Posted December 12, 2004 It is not advisable to scratch a sunni who converted to shiism cause he knows the intricacies of both the sects, especially in case of al tijani. He must have torn them apart.
Advanced Member NoorFatima Posted December 12, 2004 Advanced Member Report Share Posted December 12, 2004 (edited) (bismillah) Not only that Brother; most of the Sunni response were “Yes Mr. Tijani, you’re a Dog who bows before Fatima†as if they want to insult the Sheikh; Wallhi not only did he rip them apart, I believe neer the end of the 15 day debate, a Wahabi “Scholar†from Saudi Arabia called in and said that Alkhamees and AlGhamidi do not represent Sunnism, and only represent them selves because a lot of Sunnis from Egypt, Syria and the Gulf States were not happy nor pleased with what the two Nasibis had to say within the debate. They also had the Iranian (who is really an Afghani liar) traitor, Abu Abdull-Rahman AlBulushi; he was kicked off the show after they discovered he was inhaling cocaine during the breaks After the show, a lot of those whom converted to Shiism actually cam on Paltalk to discuss their conversion and reasons after watching the debate – I believe you still can find their Audio recordings when you visit the Shia groups on Paltalk. Advanced Member ammarjasir3355 Posted December 12, 2004 Advanced Member Report Share Posted December 12, 2004 (bismillah) (salam) When you donot carry the torch of truth you will always be torn apart. As usual, those wahabis put forth fatwas without any basis and just like most of their sunni brothers, when they are clobbered in a discussion with a Shia, they will hurl all sorts of invectives against their shi'a counterpart.Pity our women in the sunni society. Inspite of the fact that Qur'anic and Prophetic sayings enjoin high regards and respect for women, our sunni society continue to disregard the rights of their women, giving all sorts of prohibitions as if only men have been gifted with the ability to delineate between good and evil.It is this kind of fatwas that muslims continue to become illiterate and backward.Alhamdulillah, I thank Allah for giving me the light of the AHLULBAYT recently after uselessly spending almost my lifetime as a sunni.Wd salaam to all...ammarjasir3355ammarjasir3355
