  (salam)

We all talk about unity. A poll won't do us any harm. Unity is good, only on truth.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Unity on truth? what is this... do you believe is there any other truth.

There is only one truth.. there is no more any..

everyone who believe in says its the truth.. that is only one as per him.

We shouldn't have unity on falsehood, nor division because of the differences.

What we SHOULD have is unity based on understanding. Let the sunnis explain in an orderly manner their aqida to shias, and vice versa. At least that way, there will be understanding. Or at least there will be an agreement on disagreement. And that is better than having a fragmented Muslim ummah that fights more amongst itself instead of the common enemy.

"You are the best community that has been raised up for mankind.." 3:110

Let's all try to live up to that.

With all due respect to the posters, Unity is futile when there is no reason or justification to unite. When the opposing parties don't even know what they are fighting upon, and for WHOM they are fighting for, they don't even deserve to exist!

As Quran says , people de-VOID of knowledge are worse than animals.

Only those who seek the truth should consider uniting. Others should keep on living a lie.

^that's why Ahlus Sunnah have never compromised with the Shi'a

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Even that kind of unity is not possible in different Madhabib of Ahle Sunnah itself.

Unity does not mean accepting novel " Aqeedas " of other groups/sects, neither does it mean mingling of different ideas and extracting a perfect blend of " Aqeedas ". That is not possible, at least for the last 1400 years.
