Zarqowi Dead

If this proves to be true, which is very likely, not only does it confirm that the letter is a forgery (and if you're reading the Arab press which doesn't toe the CPA-USA political line, and who know ARABIC, the letter was alleged to be fake from teh beginning)!

Not to mention .. the alleged letter talked about attacking SUNNIS not Shi'i targets.

And the lies continue ...

i've posted the "letter" in question; it was (apparently) reported in the New York Times (a generally stable, if liberal newspaper).

quite frankly, i would be happy with either alternative.

one leaves a terrorist dead, and the other leaves him exposed for what he really is.

Hold up a second CPWILL, let’s be honest, the NY Times in fact is a mainstream moderate newspaper. The NY Times supported the Iraqi invasion. The Times participated in uniform and centrally distributed propaganda by falling behind the Bush II Admin and Pentagon’s wishes and falsely validated and repeating the bogus intelligence and rationale supporting the war, without following-up or reporting the details of the vocal chorus of opposition around the world screaming illegitimate war.

Think of it this way, if the NY Times were really liberal, why don’t they have a labor section? After all, they have a daily business section. Liberal doesn’t exist in the popular press in the U.S. If you said the NY Times supports the Democratic Party, that’s true. Then again, most democrats supported the Iraqi invasion. Don’t confuse party politics, democrat vs. republic, as ideology, it’s not. Liberal/conservative does not mean the same thing as democrat/republican.

the NY times is a liberal paper (moderately so) and is known for this. they are inherently anti-bush both editorially and in the news they pick to run.

union's news falls under the business section, or on the front page, when it is called for.

(ps; how, exactly, does one make a newspaper organization "appear in uniform" as you claim?)
