Irfan vs sufism?

I heard shia Ifran is easier to practice alone. Is this true and what other differences are there in them? Where can I learn more about Ifran?

Irfan is mostly unique for everyone which everyone  can attains insight & spirituality through his unique way which it's not a bunch of rituals & dances likeiwise Suffis in groups which in personal way for a newbie it seems that there is some  level of similarity in  between both of them in some methods at initiating the way ; but on the other hand in advanced levels there will be huge differences will be between Irfan & sufism ; which Sufism has been criticized by infallible Imams (عليه السلام) because it has been forged in opposition to  active spirituality which has been known as Irfan in order to encourage & fool people into abstaining from being active against tyrants & oppressors under guise of Sufism .
