Salam Alaikum all

I am a Sunni convert (from agnostic/Christian background) and I have spent a lot of time studying the deen learning a school within Ahlus Sunnah in fiqh and aqidah. A few months ago I began researching the Sahaba of RasulAllah Sallahu Alayhi Was Ali Wa Salam. Quickly Adalat As Sahaba and other points of view fell apart for me, this prompted me to research the school of Ahlul Bayt Alayhi Salam however I have reservations about accepting Shiism and would like to know more.

1. Wilayat Takwini, I have trouble accepting this in its mainstream/maximalist form based on evidence so far outside of shia sources. However I read the views of Ayatollah Fadlallah Rahmatullahi Alayh which I understand to be mission specific wilayat takwini, is this an acceptable belief to the Shia ?

2. Birth of Muhammad Al Mahdi, outside of shia sources I can't find very evidence for this, I understand Abbasid surveillance etc could explain why but I appreciate any extra evidence

3. Hadith, I acknowledge the issues with Sunni hadith but it seems there are many fabrications in the shia books, how does hadith criticism work in the school of Ahlul Bayt AS. Is there a "sahih" that the layman can read to know which hadith's are accepted

4. Cursing and Tatbir, I am not personally in favour of either, tatbir is just extremely distasteful and clearly violates the principle of not harming yourself, cursing of revered Sunni figured breeds hatred ( I am referring to Senior Sahabi and Wives not the likes of the tyrant Yazid or Muawiyah) is Sayyid Khameneis prohibition of this a common view point or is this a minority view

1. waliyah takwini is not spooky or shirk. The previous prophets as, the aimmah as, and even some urafa had varying degrees of it. it is communicating with molecules and matter on the sub atomic level and issusing orders. it is bithna or by permission of Allah dat ul dat. Even khutba bayyinah is pure tawhid if understood in this way, that is why at the end Imam Ali as says and all praises due to Allah the lord of the worlds i am but his servan and slave. its just get a bad image because of poor explantion and examles by certain groups in iraq iran and the subcontinent preachers in muharram etc Musa as spilt the sea thru a degree of waliyah takwini, he told hydrogen and oxgen toi spilt that why duaa samat describes it as a solid like way in the arabic.

2. there is a book of Sayyid Sadr Sadruddin that references "birth" or of Imam Mahdi as from about 300 Sunni Sources . There are references by christain and jewish academics showing great agruments that ahlul bayt as are not born but rather emerge from the right side ie zahur . there are interesting narratios to that affect by imam sadiq as .

3. we have no sahih works. the sahian of the sunni are mostly garbage narratios. our books have sahih hassan muwathaq and daif narrations, each narration is exampled by clegery, scholars, and grand scholars in each time

4. tatbir is a personal choice that has nothing to do with fiqh. fiqh only comes in if it is causing harm to life or image of islam. if it was a fiqhi issuse it would have ruling on hand used, swings, number etc. more people go for ziyarah, recite ziyarah, give nadr etc so they best way is to let people do it if that all they can do. talking about it all the time actually increses the number of people wqho d it. Sayyid Khamini ra veiw is a veiw of being nice and respectful not total prohibtion. Sunni book imamh wa siysasah quotes fatimah saying she will curse them in every prayer she prayers, some one aske another scholar about that he said its sound, they asked him is it than sunnah to curse them in prayers following fatimah as he said yes, they asked can anyone stop it or do we have to he said you dont have to but no can stop you, he was asked do you do it, he said yes, hey asked will you say that publicly he said no. abu bakr stoled fadak, and usruped rights. Umar beat fatimh as til she lost her child, and bleed to death 45-95 later internally, he buried duaghters alve and mostly likely per sunni and shia historical sources commited fornication and homosexual acts, abu bakr ayeshia hafsa and umar as per sunni sources posioned the prophet sawa we shouldnt curse them publicly so to hurt sunni relgion feelings, but if we dont condem in majalis and privately curse them in prayers than what does that say? we are cursing the killers of hussayn as but we are okay with killers of his mother and grandfather ?

tonight is a hard night 1st of safar ahlul bayt as entered sham, i said what was harsg but true the inked dried the pen lifted

Salam with respect to brother @Abu Hassanain , yeah Sayyid  Imam Khameneis prohibition of this is a common  & majority view point which only the minority shirazi grouplet have used cursing revered Sunni figures and the brother @Abu Hassanain is too confusing which he has just mentioned his own personal opinion which  referred to an old text which it's not part of Sunnah .

I would be surprised  that one would be able to find a fatwa saying you cannot curse the enemies and killers of Fatimah as in the night prayers

The majority of Ayatullah I have spoken to on it stated that this is for public or mixed groups, not private functions and especially not the night prayers

If you have seen an actual verdict where they say cursing is 100% not allowed in any situation I’d be interested to see that

Because no one I know, spoke to her deal with in either Qum or Najaf has ever expressed that

Unity cannot force us to compromise principles.

as for imamah wa sayasah it is not from our sources, but it makes a relevant point that these things are expressed even in their own books

In their own box 7 narration that seems to indicate the two of the wives poisoned the holy prophet, peace, and blessings upon him

now as note many ruling and views change mostly of my teachers began Hawza between 40s and 60s I finished Muqadamat in very early 00s Sath in late 00s early 10s and did Kharij for a few years I was involved with working for a couple Marja office then many got busy with teaching Hawza travel and saluk wa sayr so like everyone else, the clergy our product of their time and environment

Generally were aware of the possibilities in the potential rulings, but unless you’re constantly working with a particular Office, sometimes one does miss things and clears you like anyone else have a tendency to get stuck in a particular erra of time

Many of my teachers had switched to more recent Marja but still more or less lived in the time of Sayyid Khoy Sayyid Khumanyi Sayyid Ruhani etc

I remember when they started, allowing the necktie was a very hard day for a lot of us moving it from prohibited to dislike, but no one considers the necktie to be a symbol of Christianity anymore

The fact the scholars were ready to ban shopping in any store that had alcohol, but the groundwork isn’t there was another difficulty. We don’t have stores in the west we can go to that have everything we have nothing that’s like a Whole Foods, but without alcohol and all Halal.

I completely agree. Also, some people don't just compromise them, they might forget them.
