After the obligatory three rak‘ahs of the Maghrib prayer, the daily prayer routine also includes four rak‘ahs of optional (nāfilah) prayer.

In Mafātīḥ al-Jinān, it is mentioned that after the ta‘qībāt of the Maghrib prayer, one may offer the Ghufaylah prayer during the period between sunset (Maghrib) and the evening (Ishā’) prayer. I initially understood this to mean that the Ghufaylah prayer is offered after the optional prayer.

However, the statement in the book appears right after the description of the ta‘qībāt of Maghrib, which suggests that the Ghufaylah prayer should be performed immediately after the ta‘qībāt — and the ta‘qībāt are performed directly after the obligatory prayer.

This leaves me confused about the proper sequence. Should the Ghufaylah prayer be offered before the four rak‘ahs of optional prayer, or after them? Or does the order not matter? Could someone kindly clarify?
