Need help

I’m a 24 year old female engaged to a 26 year old male. It seems as though every time me and my fiance plan our wedding date and it comes time to book our trip in order to get married, something ends up happening that postpones everything. Whether it’s my father falling ill, me falling ill, a war, or many more along those lines.  We have also both been having dreams, specifically him, that seem to point to people around us not wanting us to be happy and who are praying on our downfall. His latest dream was about 3 brown snakes. At first we thought maybe it’s because we are sharing to much of our wedding plans with people and maybe that’s why everything was going wrong, but we’ve stopped doing that and still no change in outcome. One specific person had also threatened sihr on us in the past that would make everything harder for us and they swore to never let our marriage happen. We don’t know if it’s sihr, evil eye, hased, or just Allah having a better plan for us. We don’t know what to do anymore and want a solution that will help ease our situation so that way we can finally be happy and together.

Salam, Sister. Is this hateful person a male or female? Is he/she a relative to you or your future husband? Why would they threaten you in this way?

The evil eye, black magic, sorcery, witchcraft, etc. do not work in the way many of our cultures would have people imagine they work

These things have very little effect if you’re even practicing the religion at the basic level

9 falaq and 9 nas in witr after Fajr and Magharib keeps most of this away

Honestly, praying me performing. The religious duties keeps most of this way.

The time when things like this happens, it’s human circumstances and situations

If you have permission for the parents and everything is in order, I would simply just press on and not worry about a huge wedding that takes a lot of planning have a simple religious ceremony and then you can have a fancy public wedding later if that’s what you wanna do

She is my mother’s sister. She had a fallout with my mother over some petty stuff, and started talking about how because she brought me and my husband together, she would do anything to separate us even if it came down to having to do sihr.

We are both very practicing in our religion. We are also no longer having a wedding and resorting to an only me and him thing because of these circumstances.
