csnt comment on individual products but in general protein powders are whey based so no issues there the issues would be if aminal enzeymes or protein are used

vegan or vegetarian protein powders are always an option

Assalamu Alaikum,

Is protein powder generally considered halal.

how about this one in particular, https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/74330/inc-100-dynamic-whey-vanilla-flavour-2kg

I didn’t really know where to ask regarding this.

Salam. What @Abu Hassanain said above is good. My question is how many servings for that container of whey protein? Is the price too high compared to other brands?

There is a question also about the vanilla flavor. Some vanilla extracts are made with alcohol so I have always avoided vanilla whey protein since I did not know if it had alcohol or not. The strawberry or chocolate flavor seemed a better choice.

Also, when buying whey protein look for low sugar (less than 5 grams on the label) or no sugar added.

I work out a lot, but I never felt the need to use protein powders. A lot of the hard-core bodybuilder guys do I’m in shape, but I never wanted to be like the Hulk.

That’s a good thought. I personally like vanilla and very few things. I’ll get the natural beans that are alcohol free in chocolate or occasionally there’s vanilla ice cream. That’s vegan and usually doesn’t have alcohol. I’ll get.

But generally, I think chocolate protein powder would be better

most protein powders I see over here $20-$60 a container they’re expensive but again if you don’t get enough protein like my sister because she’s picky about foods or you’re doing massive bodybuilding I guess you have to consider it’s worth it

I actually like working out better fasting or when I’ve only eaten breakfast then after having had lunch or dinner, I personally try not to eat lunch only breakfast and dinner

I do an hour and five minutes of cardio on the elliptical four times a week. I recommend cardio is heart rate blood flow and vascular health is important to weightlifting ability.

I would recommend starting with 10 pounds with three reps of five on the machines to get used to them then move up to 1/ third of 25% of your body weight so let’s say you’re 150 pounds you’re talking about 32 pounds usually here in the US in increments of five or 10

I would recommend if you can do a different body system every day that’s great most people can’t do that

So I try to do arms, chest shoulders, and cardio and legs four times a week right now my knee is acting up a little not from working out from something else so I’m not doing legs when I talk to the physical therapist. I’ll see when I can start legs again. The most important part is to pace yourself and do a variety of exercise exercises that work a variety of system systems.

If you want lean muscle, that’s one thing if you want to build like lots of muscle that requires a very specific diet workout combo

By myself, I’m going for a low weight in lean muscle

So for instance, for dinner tonight, I had three dates salad greens, which I threw about an ounce of pecans and 2 ounces of black beans with a couple tablespoons of olive oil and a tablespoon of hot sauce mixed together all low salt and four falafel’s dipped in hot honey hummus I was his birthday was coming up so we split a pint of ice cream which normally I wouldn’t

Tomorrow I’m having sliced bananas with low salt, honey nut peanut butter and a pecan on each slice with three dates for dinner tomorrow night for her birthday. We’re doing chickpea pasta, and broccoli with olive oil and  zatar and salsa. And I tried to have some different types of beans how I’m thinking later in the week of having pineapples and greens cooked together. The point is you want to have nuts, beans or meat if you eat meat with each meal but an a portion of them amount you wanna get 25 to 50% of your body weight in grams of protein every day you do not want to listen to some insane Gym Brose who talk about three 400 g of protein a day now if you weigh 200 pounds you only need 50 to 200 g of protein a day and 80 would be sufficient

The gym I go to I make my nafilah and some Amal on cardio and make the mandatory prayers standing and sitting, depending on my ability in the mirror room this room where people do yoga is usually empty, so that’s important to balancing the religious aspects and work aspect with the ability to work out like if you’re working a regular 9 to 5 if you can find a 24 hour gym, you can do say two 2 1/2 hour workout three times during the week and once on the weekend, that would be good what you don’t want to do is like say Friday you’re off because you work more hours Monday through Thursday you don’t wanna work out Friday Saturday Sunday the same muscle systems you can get away with doing two days in a row, but not three of the same muscle systems

Vary your protein protein with every meal and from a variety of sources in learning, how to cook is a big thing because of people don’t know how to cook. They can get bored with healthy food and workout food. I generally don’t eat wheat. Sometimes I crave this snack. I used to buy on the way to seminary classes when I was much younger. It’s a New York style snack mix it’s not bad but it’s wheat and too much salt so I’ve been known to occasionally eat some of those outside of legacy. That’s no good for the body. you need good food for your mind and for your soul the health of the body is the basis of a lot of other things.

I just gotta check this before I lay down so I know this is a little rant, but I was thinking of general advice I could give any other information you want about working out let me know and there was a Iranian brother who is a professional bodybuilder I’m here years ago. I don’t know if he’s still on here.

Is good to see people taking health seriously the commander of the faithful used to do amazing things on the battlefield. Now some of that was from divine power, but some of that was from raw strength from the physical activities he used to do the 14 were not soft fat or out of shape people it’s a shame that some of our youth pump iron hired but many many of my clergy men are overweight. I actually had somebody tell me when I first started losing weight and getting healthy. I was never particularly unhealthy, but I was too heavy at one point I had somebody tell me who’s gonna invite you to speak if you’re not fat people don’t trust a healthy looking skinny clergymen and is ironic without naming names. There’s one who is in Chicago is very tall and thin and there’s one who is a doctor. I know it’s height and weight proportion. What are you talking about? Just the clergy not so much I had actually someone tell me that you can get skinny if you become a grand die when you get to that level of people don’t want you to be fat but regular clothes you have to be fat I’m not kidding.

So I recommend anyone who takes physical health seriously because of the tradition of our beloved prophet, the commander of the faithful and the holy infallibles
