wasail Shia net in English good start

thaqlayn also has many important books in English

Al-Islam.org is a great resource

you can read the material then post any relevant questions concerns or further need for details you have here and brothers and sisters will happily answer and expound for you

How is the situation in Greece economically with the different groups? I know it was bad economically and racially a few few years ago. Is it getting better?

Is the behavior of certain Muslim groups to cause a lot of of the problems or is it ingrained prejudice your thought thoughts would be most welcome as I’m generally curious as to what’s going on in Europe in a lot of places

That was more familiar with the Caribbean south in South America to lesser extent Africa and West Europe east south Europe, Asia, so your thoughts are greatly appreciated

wallahu alam

prayers for your success

Walaikom salam!

I am half Greek too :) but haven't visited yet :(

Just to start, I think there's a lot to learn from Greek philosophy. The 12 imams spoke about Aristotle and many of our scholars quote from Socrates and Plato as well. They were monotheists but their communities didn't understand their monotheism. (Although it's probably better to read about the 12 imams before reading other philosophers).

Anyway, I would advise you in general to refrain from following a single scholar, ensure you have a variety of sources. Some scholars I learned from in the start are Mohammed al-Hilli, Mohammed Baqer al-Qazwini (and his brothers, also with the name Qazwini), and Ammar Nakshawani (a fantastic orator who used to be my favourite, but take his words with a grain of salt and, in the start, focus on videos from 5+ years ago. He's changed lately and has become extremely sectarian - which leads me to my next piece of advice): I would advise you specifically to stay away from sectarian scholars. Scholars who insult and curse are tools to divide Muslims. The 12 Imams have taught us to be honourable and to have good manners, even with enemies, let alone other Muslims. Shi'ite Islam is a beautiful ideology so don't let these reckless fake scholars corrupt it.

We're here to help you if you have any questions :)

10000000% agree with you. He was favourite as well but he changed for worst. I don't understand how some Shia scholars persist on who focusing on insulting Aisha and some of the companions of Prophet ((عليه السلام)). Even if they prove their points with evidences, the end results will be further divisions and more hatred towards Shia. Some of these scholars, I would say they have blood on their hands because these days we should refrain from insulting and discussing controversial, we should focus on more uniting Muslims.

I think the 12 Imams would rather see Muslims get united rather then discuss issues that results in divisions, bloodshed and victory for Muslim enemies
