I remember I was living in Georgia in 2010, many of the centers were far we’re talking about 40  miles  the American one I really didn’t like didn’t separate men and women. There’s no partition men could see women so I wouldn’t even go there, but even that was like 15 milesby Bus and I wasn’t happy with the way they were doing the Friday. Prayers of the subject matter.

Swipe called the head representative of Sayyid and said I want to work with the office and I want permission to lead the Friday prayers so the secretary has asked me do I speak Persian now my language is Arabic in English so OK we’ll go talk to him so they go talk back-and-forth with Persian talk to me and they say OK he’s gotta call Iran, so they call and I thought they’re gonna talk to another representative, but it was Sayyid Khamenei talking to his head rep, or they had me on speaker in the background, he gave me permission to do the Friday prayers, but but not to do it in his name may give me permission to answer questions on behalf of his office, and according to his rules and permission to collect the khums and send it to the central office

At the time I went to seminary, I started a little younger and went with more old-school teachers. The common feeling was that you had to be a Shaikh to do Jummah and have permission of a Marja 

Sayyid was the first Alim to support in that way and I will be forever grateful

Salam. Many people remember the letter Ayatullah Khamenei RA wrote to the Youth in Europe and North America on January 21, 2015.

On November 29, 2015 he wrote a second letter to the Youth in Western Countries.

On May 25, 2024 he wrote a third letter to the Young people whose awakened conscious has moved them to defend the oppressed women and children of Gaza.

Ayatullah Khamenei RA wanted everyone to study and research why the West tries to tarnish the image of Islam. When many people think about Islam they think of ISIS, Taliban, DAESH, etc., all kinds of terrorism. He encouraged everyone to gain proper, correct and unbiased understanding of Islam, to read the Holy Qur'an and become familiar with what it teaches:

The Quran's lesson for us Muslims and all of humanity is to stand up for that which is right: "So be steadfast as you have been commanded." (11:112)

The Quran's lesson for human relations is: "Do not oppress and do not be oppressed." (2:279)
