imam sadiq as says "taqiyah is 9/10th of din " "taqiyah is my din and the din of my forefathers" "he who has no taqiyah has no din" "taqiyah is to preserve the life livelihood and honor of the believer" "there is no taqiyah in blood (murder) or alcohol "

we are in the same country brother. I’m in Ohio and I was his representative and I’m not living in fear.

Obviously,in a day and where people gun other down over political and religious opinions. You have to take precautions 

However, it’s not been as bad as I thought

I wear a coffee in Islamic ring and a big beer 24 seven my wife wears hijab and abaya In a very pro Trump anti-immigrant area  and have had no headaches.

A lot of it is your mindset and how you handle things

Georgia is not Texas or Florida

The last white dude in the area I lived in down. There was a clansman or related to them in the military veteran and we used to sit down and eat pie together. It’s not that bad down there.

honestly, I hate to say it, but you probably have more problems down there with African-Americans or Muslim then with random white people

The communities down there, especially in Atlanta, hard salafi 

they don’t like Shia Sufi ashari maturide or mutazila

Unless you knew the person from before and the person from before knew you were Shia I would be more concerned about relocating to a safe area than taqiyyah.

I would also like to add that in the west, one of the benefits is not having to do taqiyyah to the point of hiding your religion for the most part.

it depends where you’re living in the west there are Pirates of New York City, where it’s absolutely necessary to protect your life

People have been attacked for not using stone or the soil of karbalah but for using paper or their hand in some centers when they prostrate in prayer, prayers in New York City

It’s not consistent in that bad all the time but Jersey City Newark parts of Philadelphia Camden parts of Boston. Ours is bad and much worse.

Anywhere it’s a low income area filled with crime in a large salafi population many times taqiyah comes into place as an obligation

of course and also taqiyyah is an obligation if they have to live with anti Islamic non Muslim family but are unable to relocate
