Currently, I have a State Government Job trying to feed my family and I, along with using my income donating charity to Gaza as a means to atone for my sins/wrongdoing (though finding the right donation centers is difficult to the point of near impossible). Is that OK? Cause I don’t know what to do as I lack job experience and my father who worked as a Government Director back in his native country Pakistan advised me to work in a State Government job in USA.

It depends on the government department you work for, even with federal. I think for purely administrative things like the DMV its fine. Even mandatory things like trash and park services are fine. But if it is something like the actual police or any federal agency like FBI, CIA or the US military, I would advise you to find another job but for practicality do not leave your job until you are certain you have a job lined up for you.

Keep in mind I am an internet stranger and to take my advice with a grain of salt. The best thing to do is to keep repenting and praying to Allah.
