Assalamalaykum

I am a Shia girl marrying a Sunni boy. We are trying to set a date for our nikah and we would preferably like to do it on a Friday but that day is Nahs. How much of this is valid in Islam? I feel this is rooted deeply only in the sub-continent. I am from India and I have always watched my family refer to the calendar. I don’t see the sense in referring to it everyday but only paying heed to the shahadats and wiladats and of course Muharram.
I have tried checking out sistani.org but could not find an answer there.
I would like some references to this where it says that you can’t do the nikah on a Nahs day. Thanks!

Salam

they are narrations about the days dates and months.

For instance, the dates for marriage, having relations, etc., are mostly in relation to when it’s bad to try to conceive a child being on Mondays and Wednesdays

The narration is about the scorpion moon are mostly reliable

Friday is a blessed day and there’s no problem getting married on Friday after the Friday Prayers before sunset.

There is a generation from the 14 infallible’s do not be enemies of the days. We are the days.

So a lot of these things there’s innovations that are somewhat reliable, but not particularly strong that people take to extremes

If you want to get married soon, I suggest the first of the last month of Ramadan or the day of Eid
