Salam

it’s not allowed for women to see the private parts of other women in terms of the Vulva , vagina etc.

No, if it’s a medical issue like delivering a baby gynecologist, a proctologist that’s different

And some people may have got special permission from their scholar for certain situations that only applies to that person like I know one person was very paranoid about having a male do a prostate exam or hemorrhoid exam because of the amount of homosexuals in the west so he asked if he could have a female doctor do it in the scholar told him as long as he’s not overcome by by lost it’s an odd thing but fine that ruling only applied to him because it was asked in a specific question for him

That’s why when washing a dead body we put a sheet over and they pour the water and wash them under the sheet

I have not seen a specific verdict on this issue

So I’m going on what I know of the verdict of the living and dead juris the principles of jurispence and jurisprudence

Now the only exception is in the case of a disabled person someone with bad hands somebody who can’t do the hair removal themselves and their spouse or parents can’t do it for them and they’re going somewhere where it’s highly encouraged such as performing pilgrimage then perhaps some of the juris would allowed in that kind of situation

imam Jafar as Sadiq as narrates men should shave their private parts naval in armpits every 40 days he narrates that women should do it every 20 days he also narrates the Harold women grow faster than the hair of man

So this is something that must be done but yourself or a very close blood relative or a married partner are supposed to do it

Male and females are supposed to trim their fingernails once a week and males are supposed to trim their mustache once a week

So is your mother answering this based on culture possibly does that mean that her culture is not in line with Islamic law no

Laser hair removal and of itself would be allowed for the armpits, the legs, the navel the chest and all area areas that are not the vagina or as precaution the anal opening

But those two specific areas it has to be you yourself, your spouse or your mother, as you are a female

wallahu Alam
