:salam:

So I have been thinking and can use assisting input. It has been well over 1200 years. The 313 who fought the battle of Badr and we have all read their stories, life histories, achievements, its all their in history books. Now, the awaited Mahdi (عليه السلام) is said to have been collecting his own 313 followers over a millennia. It is also said that when he finds all 313 he will reappear, as we know, right? What I can't figure out is that what exactly was so exceptional about the 313 of Badr that one millennia and countless generations have failed to produce. Its not even like salt in flour. I see very able people, plenty of them, ready to die for the cause, keep up prayers, fast, believe in God and the next life. What more can a master ask of in his men? Or is it some quality that escapes the mortal eyes. That is the question. Can you think what it is?

The 313 have reached the highest level of faith and are the most perfect of perfect believers

The 10,000 that will gather at the pitch in Kufa general believers the scholars I have spoken to in Qum mention that belief has a minimum of 200 conditions we’re just talking about belief 313 are such a vastly higher level compared to that we can’t even comprehend

A big reason why we don’t achieve a lot of people like that today is because of dirt and money and dirt in food

That is the foundation of everything and right now the foundation of most things is corrupted

Salam. Al-Mizan tafsir mentions there were 313 obedient men in the battle against Goliath. What does the Holy Qur'an say about them? They were patient.

And when Saul [Talut] set out with the hosts he said, “Truly God will try you with a stream. Whosoever drinks from it is not of me, and whosoever tastes not of it is of me—save one who scoops out a handful.” But they drank from it, save a few among them. So when he crossed it, he and those who believed with him, they said, “We have no power today against Goliath and his hosts.” Those who deemed they would meet their Lord said, “How many a small company have overcome a large company by God’s leave! And God is with the patient.  Holy Qur'an 2:249

Al-Mizan tafsir mentions there were also 313 in the Muslim army at the battle of Badr. Scholars have agreed that the following verse is about Badr:

There was a sign for you in the two hosts that met, one host fighting in the way of God and the other disbelieving, whom they [the former] saw as twice themselves as the eye sees. And God strengthens by His help whomsoever He will. Truly in that is a lesson for those who possess insight.  Holy Qur'an 3:13

Salam. From Al-Kafi the Book of Reason and Ignorance

“At the time when Imãm al-Mahdi (the twelfth Imãm in the line-age of Prophet Muhammad’s progeny) will make an appearance in the world, Almighty Allah will put His blessed Hand over the heads of the people of that time through which the Reason of the people will be completely restored and their comprehension will be brought to perfection.”

The no. 313 of Imam Mahdi's (عليه السلام) most special allies in the context of the Battle of Badr is part of parallels between him & his Grandfather (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), the number of soldiers with which each embarks on his military career, as did Saul with the same number. The Prophet's military career reached its peak with the establishment of his rule across Arabia, while his namesake & descendant Imam Mahdi's rule will be established across the globe.

That doesn't necessitate all the 313 Badrīs to have all the lofty attributes with which the special 313 have been described, there's no prophecy as such. Rather, even in attested Sunnī narrations, some men recorded as Badrīs have been reported as culprits of major crimes e.g. Thaʿlabah ibn Ḥāṭib asked the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) for wealth, became rich, and then refused Zakāh; an Anṣārī Badrī companion disputed with al-Zubayr over irrigation water and brought the case to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), when the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ruled in al-Zubayr’s favor, the man implied bias by saying it was because he was the Prophet’s cousin; Ḥāṭib ibn Abī Baltaʿah was a Badrī companion who once secretly sent a letter to Quraysh informing them about the Prophet’s planned move toward Makkah, hoping to protect his family living there.

As for how the special 313 are so exceptional across a whole millennium then that's what can be comprehended rightfully only after they emerge with the Imam (عليه السلام)

And Allāh knows best.

Salam respectfully it's not right which clearly it's neither from major nor minor signs ; which it's just a sign for recognizing him after his reappearance ; which 313 can be martyrs from past centuries likewise Malik Ashtar & Salman Farsi (Muhammadi) & some of contemporary martyrs likewise Sayed hasan Nasrullah , Imad Mughniyeh , general Soleimani , martyr Hujaji  & other people likewise them whether will be  alive or being martyrs .

According to some hadiths, Malik al-Ashtar will return during the time of the advent of the Imam of the Time (a.j.); according to a narration from Mufadhal ibn Umar from Imam al-Sadiq ((عليه السلام).), when the Qa’im (a.j.) appears, he will bring out seventeen people from behind the Ka’bah: five from the people of Moses ((عليه السلام).) who had been guided to the truth, seven from the Companions of the Cave, Yusha ibn Nun, Abu Dujanah, Miqdad ibn Amr, and Malik al-Ashtar.[76]

It is narrated from Imam Sadiq (عليه السلام) that at the time of the advent, 13 women will return, among whom is Sumayyah, the mother of Ammar Yasir. The outstanding characteristic of these women was their patience and perseverance in the face of the hardships of the infidels and enemies of Islam.

Narrations that indicate the presence of 50 women among the companions of Imam al-Zaman ((عليه السلام).). Imam al-Baqir ((عليه السلام).) says: “By َAllah, 313 people will come, 50 of whom will be women.”
And in another place, Imam al-Baqir ((عليه السلام).) says: “During the reign of Mahdi ((عليه السلام).), they will teach all people wisdom and knowledge so that what women do in their homes will be judging by the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet.”

A narration that narrates 400 heavenly women in the Mahdavi government. The Holy Prophet ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) says: “Isa son of Maryam (عليه السلام) will descend to earth with 800 men and 400 women from the best and most worthy people.” And these women were certainly among the pure of their time who will achieve this happiness.
