Allowed Surname for Non Syed Shia Reverts

Today I want to discuss very critical topic there are so many reverts some become shia during time of Imam some become later, the people who reverts at time of imam were also using surname of imam. As honorable but now they are much with syeds not easy to identify, later reverts using geographic are names which were also mixed with Syed now a days, recent reverts using only Jafri only because of doubt of future generations fake Syed claim but previous used every surname like Rizvi, Zaidi, Kazmi, Bukhari etc, my question is that agree it or not reverts want strong surname for getting acceptance in shia society what are other surnames that used by both Syed and non Syed shia or which surname allowed for shia because if they use only jaffery surname there are chances of rejection of visas etc, what other surnames allowed used by non syed too and show shia identity, please reply based on real social life not theory basis.

we asked Sayyid Khamenei Ra this question when worked with his office back in 2011. 
 

we asked the some “converts” want to use Hussayni or Khadhimi or Jafari as a last name due to love of this or that Imam as , many of the Desi Sayyids in the area we lived were dead against this and wanted an answer Sayyid Ra replied it was fine the could use names like Hussayni Khadhimi Jafari or any name linked to the Aimmah as just the shouldn’t use Sayyid Mirza wear a black turban or accept khums . 
 

Even in some areas I have seen non sayyid converts wear a small black turban for Muharram etc which is probably more eye brow raising 

I did that one year of the first 10 days someone came up to me with a big envelope of money and asked Sayyid I said no for Muharram I was staying in Dearborn and I was walking from my motel to the Islamic center to pray midday prayer very interesting occurrence

The general maurf or culture with the turban also doesn’t apply to kuffi fez taj box kuffi fitted hats dress hats durags or bandanas which I saw some brother some East Saudi Arabia or college students try to argue with me. It’s because they got mad. This is confused. We see you wear the white turban when you come to speak, but when you’re out and about in the neighborhood we see you wear green white black orange, blah blah blah what do you mean I don’t? I’ve never even seen an orange German like you were other hats, I started laughing. I said only the color of the turban matters they didn’t wanna believe that so they sent I believe it was too.  Ayatullah Yadallah Ra about it in his office was very confused on their thoughts to say the least.

If people are honest, and sincerely, these issues are really aren’t that much we make more of an issue of it

Let’s be honest, we have very authentic narrations that say Imam Ridha as for a white turban to lead the Eid prayer prayers, and it was hanging. This is in Uyun Akhabar Rida by Shaikh Saduq among other sources 

We have a strange or classified as strange but not weak narration saying on the last luminary appears he would be wearing a yellow turban. It’s a link so take it with a grain of salt, but it’s just interesting. I saw it in one of the books very old weird book. I can’t remember which one so again take it with a grain of salt.

Also, when you look at the pictures that were drawn of the previous scholars, the author of Ocean of light for instance, or a black-and-white checkered turban

The prophet piece of blessings be upon him is known to have worn black to battle white for many holidays. Hunter Green dark green with his general color, but they found blue and brown, supposed to be from him too.

I don’t necessarily take the view that the wearing of black and white turbines became a thing in the 1800s which is the view of some modernness like Maulana Anwar Ali 

But these issues usually are not as hard-core in our jurisprudence  as the lay people make them

If am Not wrong you said Imam Khomeini allow using surnames of imams without claiming Syed lineage? But what about Pakistani shia they didn't accept it, neither they accept revert shia without strong surname

Sayyid Khamenei Ra not Sayyid Khumanyi Ra . 
 

Pakatani Shia in the area had to accept it wether it was hard for them or not because it is the degree of a major Marja. 
 

wether Pakistani want to accept something or not has no bearing on the shariah . The oppose Sayyida na Sayyid Nikkah Al Aqd but Sayyid Muhammad Ridha Gulpygani married his daughter to nasayyid based on the narration of Imam Sadiq as marrying his daughter to a Shia from Bani Ummayyah . 
 

The Commander of the faithful peace upon him said after religion culture is the best in inheritance, the keyword after religion when it comes to the Shariah culture goes out the window
