Prophet Idris/ Enoch who has been called first Hermes and third Uria (teacher) by some historians, scholars and philosophers was a very knowledgeable man. He was the first man who used the pen for writing. He taught astronomy, arithmetic, ... to people and founded many towns. Some even believe that he was the one who built the first pyramids as the first pyramids were built before the Flood. He inscribed his knowledge on some tablets in order to preserve them for the next generations.

The prophet Noah also preserved the pre-Flood knowledge for the humankind. In addition to inventing the ship, he also invented farming tools.

The prophet Abraham (who may be the second Hermes because he was from Babylon), found the Prophet Idris' tablets. He taught astronomy and arithmetic to egyptian priests in Heliopolis.

AND Artapanus says, in his book Concerning the Jews, that after the death of Abraham, and of his son Mempsasthenoth, and likewise of the king of Egypt, his son Palmanothes succeeded to the sovereignty.

'This king behaved badly to the Jews; and first he built Kessa, and founded the temple therein, and then built the temple in Heliopolis.

'He begat a daughter Merris, whom he betrothed to a certain Chenephres, king of the regions above Memphis (for there were at that time many kings in Egypt); and she being barren took a supposititious child from one of the Jews, and called him Mouses (Moses): but by the Greeks he was called, when grown to manhood, Musaeus.

'And this Moses, they said, was the teacher of Orpheus; and when grown up he taught mankind many useful things. For he was the inventor of ships, and machines for laying stones, and Egyptian arms, and engines for drawing water and for war, and invented philosophy. Further he divided the State into thirty-six Nomes, and. appointed the god to be worshipped by each Nome, and the sacred writing for the priests, and their gods were cats, and dogs, and ibises: he also apportioned an especial district for the priests.

'All these things he did for the sake of keeping the sovereignty firm and safe for Chenepbres. For previously the multitudes, being under no order, now expelled and now set up kings, often the same persons, but sometimes others.

'For these reasons then Moses was beloved by the multitudes, and being deemed by the priests worthy to be honoured like a god, was named Hermes, because of his interpretation of the Hieroglyphics.

'But when Chenephres perceived the excellence of Moses he envied him, and sought to slay him on some plausible pretext. And so when the Aethiopians invaded Egypt, Chenephres supposed that he had found a convenient opportunity, and sent Moses in command of a force against them, and enrolled the body of husbandmen for him, supposing that through the weakness of his troops he would easily be destroyed by the enemy.

I often think about this particular topic.

Is there any info about what prophet came up with soap ? Such a complex yet important process needed divine inspiration.

Cleanliness is part of faith, and soap is a shield against diseases.

An interesting question but i just know that soap was an old invention. In ancient times, it was made of animal fat.

Artapanus says, in his book Concerning the Jews, that Joseph was a descendant of Abraham and son of Jacob: and because he surpassed his brethren in understanding and wisdom, they plotted against him. But he became aware of their conspiracy, and besought the neighbouring Arabs to convey him across to Egypt: and they did what he requested; for the kings of the Arabians are offshoots of Israel, being sons of Abraham, and brethren of Isaac. And when he had come to Egypt and been commended to the king, he was made administrator of the whole country. And whereas the Egyptians previously occupied the laud in an irregular way, because the country was not divided, and the weaker were unjustly treated by the stronger, he was the first to divide the land, and mark it out with boundaries, and much that lay waste he rendered fit for tillage, and allotted certain of the arable lands to the priests.

'He was also the inventor of measures, and for these things he was greatly beloved by the Egyptians. He married Aseneth a daughter of the priest of Heliopolis, by whom he begat sons. And afterwards his father and his brethren came to him, bringing much substance, and were set to dwell in Heliopolis and Sais, and the Syrians multiplied in Egypt.

'These he says built both the temple in Athos and that in Ileliopolis, and were called Ermiuth. Soon afterwards Joseph died, as did also the king of Egypt. So Joseph while governor of Egypt stored up the corn of the seven years, which had been immensely productive, and became master of Egypt.'

Eupolemus in his book Concerning the Jews of Assyria says that the city Babylon was first founded by those who escaped from the Deluge; and that they were giants, and built the tower renowned in history.

'But when this had been overthrown by the act of God, the giants were dispersed over the whole earth. And in the tenth generation, he says, in Camarina a city of Babylonia, which some call the city Uria (and which is by interpretation the city of the Chaldees), + in the thirteenth generation + Abraham was born, who surpassed all men in nobility and wisdom, who was also the inventor of astronomy and the Chaldaic art, and pleased God well by his zeal towards religion.

'By reason of God's commands this man came and dwelt in Phoenicia, and pleased their king by teaching the Phoenicians the changes of the sun and moon and all things of that kind.

...

...

'And Abraham dwelt with the Egyptian priests in Heliopolis and taught them many things; and it was he who introduced astronomy and the other sciences to them, saying that the Babylonians and himself had found these things out, but tracing back the first discovery to Enoch, and saying that he, and not the Egyptians, had first invented astrology.

i’m the flood the idea that we go with the Israelite dates and timelines is extremely flawed, and I wish my fellow colleagues and senior scholars neuron in Iraq with abandoned this

Not all of them are going with it, but too many

Historically, geologically and scientifically the flood has two good dates, 10 to 15,000 years ago in 100,000 years ago

The flood wiped out all of insan human beings, but nas or mankind humanoids in general. There are other creatures that walk the Earth that had all about disappeared by the time of our father Abraham, peace be upon him

The race of Jin, Freeman, man other theatrical creatures is the word angels could be general or angelic beans, less general for different types of creatures in poetry literature in different sources

Are atom was the human atom of the cycle of Big Bang big crunch the million atoms were the million Multiverse and multiplane of the last Big Bang big crunches before this one Adam also refers to him in about 40,000 of his children and grandchildren that came from the valley of peace where they were dwelling to the Earth they were in the gardens of purgatory not the heavens that is eternal. No one leaves in Satan cast from

Mars looked at some sort of life about 500 million years ago in Venus about 2 billion they would’ve had their own Adam separated from our series and their own last day planets rise and fall galaxies rise and fall. We don’t know what means from other planets or other dimensions exist existed here.

We know that the race of jin, the angels and what is described this other beans and some sources came and offered to help Imam Hussayn as akarabalah

We had different creatures, the different ancient sources mention coming from under the ground, the sea from ships in the air and deep in the forest and the last dates and it’s possible different types of crypto would come out in pledge allegiance to the last luminary in and assist him

The narration about the commander of the faithful peace, be upon him speaking to the wolf in its language then it’s indicates a kind of stored in spoke in. Arabic is enough for these type of possibilities.

The race of man is very old. The race of comprehensive man and young man are much older the cycles of creation destruction, last trillions of years according to quantum physics and quantum mechanics, which is in line with Islamic teachers.

There were many civilizations that were possibly much more advanced, and we’re taught knowledge that only a remnant has reached us before the flood in those early epoch

Definitely before the flood, and even slightly after different creatures openly walk, the Earth interacted inbred with men, we have narrations about different people marrying from the race of Jinn Hurulayn etc.

Books is crazy as they’ve been used by weird group such as the coming race journey to the center of the Earth the lost world might not be that far off from reality

It’d be interesting to see what higher knowledge would be lost

When the last luminary rises, he will bring all the high levels of the 2° of knowledge the previous profits Broad +25° of new knowledge the world he would create would make Star Wars Star Trek and every sci-fi and fantasy movie look low tech

so much is the narration of different scores of thought agree Idris was the founder of what today would be called Turkish Lebanese, Syrian Jordanian, modern day, Palestine, Israel, and Sinai, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the horn Tunisia, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, and Berber civilizations . He could’ve been the founding inspiration for Babylonian Assyrian, the original Proto, Arab and Proto, Persian civilizations, and Proto Indian civilizations as well.

These civilizations all go back between five and 10,000 years obviously he goes back much further than that between 150,000 and a couple million years

At least if you take the 10 15,000 year estimate in the flood, he probably goes back about 18,000 to 20,000 years

He had a scripture in a book if you look at kalamuddin of Shaikh Saduq Ra he mentions lengthy about his period of occultation and some of his teachings in prayer

The different protestant groups attribute strange things to him in the book of Enoch 12 and three you should most probably be ignored. That was what the western Blockbuster movie Noah was based on.

it’s agreed he has send it to the heavens, and his soul was taken in the fourth heaven. He was one of the only people to be taken into the heavens alive. Those that were taken alive remain alive and did not return with the prophets. Elijah in Jesus, peace upon them and prophet Muhammad, peace, and blessings upon sending to the heavens and returned one of the proof for having the greatest status

There is a discussion by some fringe scholars in Iran in India did the flood occurred on another planet that get you down from here was from a higher state in purgatory to another planet on earth will be your dwelling place is a general statement that the ark was a spaceship, and his children were transported with higher knowledge of their forefathers to the Earth. I won’t rule it out because there’s some scholarly basis in Kalam but it’s a little out there some of the Proto sci-fi exposing African-American movements expose these kind of ideas very interesting at either way

Historians believe that the ancient methods of soap production can be attributed to the period of the Babylonians and ancient Egypt. A type of salt called Natron, clay and talc-based soapstone, are other raw materials found in the remains of Egyptian monuments. These substances were probably part of their bathing process, which, in the worst possible case, can be thought of as having been obtained from the decomposition of bodies.

Most likely, the soap was first made by the Egyptians in the Nile Valley. Around 600 BC Phoenician sailors took the soap making art to the Mediterranean coast

They made soap from animal fat and plant ash (as an alkaline substance) and called it“Saipo” from which the present-day soap name “Soap” derives.

The first documentation of soap-like substances has been recorded for about 2,500 years. returns in Mesopotamia. Clay tablets show that the Sumerians used water and sodium carbonate – a powdery salt obtained from the plant's ash – to clean themselves and used beer and hot water to clean their wounds. Two centuries later, the Akkadian Empire in the Mesopotamian region used a mixture of plants such as palm trees, coniferous pine and bush plants called "Tamashir"(تماشیر). This mixture is in line with the raw materials of today's soaps. Alkaline such as Tamashir (تماشیر), oils such as palm trees and abrasives such as coniferous pine were recipes for making soap in ancient times.

Quote

The importance of soap as a detergent remained unknown until the second century AD until Galen, a doctor of the Greek name, named soap as a washing agent. Until the early 1800s, soap was believed to be a mechanical mixture of fat and alkali . Then Shurlet, the French chemist, showed that the formation of soap is actually a chemical reaction.

Quote

The ancient Greeks and Romans took a rather different approach to bathing. After soaking themselves with water, they would apply themselves fragrant olive oil, and then apply the remaining pus to the skin with a tool called strigil. But according to Rasmussen, this will cover the pus instead of the cleaning technique. "Sometimes the oil contained fragrant plant extracts," she says. So during this time, oils were used as perfumes."Many of these soap blends were used to clean the fabric instead of the human body," Rasmussen says. These methods were more part of an industrial process than they were a method of cleaning."Historians are not sure when bathing with soap became commonplace, but,…

Quote

But, according to Ridner, it is considered a late thing in the Western world-it was probably the late 1800s when soap was first used for bathing.

"In fact, the formula for ancient and modern soaps is not very different," says Ridner.»

The books of Enoch are pseudoepigraphic. They (i dont remember which ones) say that Idris was translated to an angel called Metatron after ascending to the heaven! which I personally cannot believe. However, the fact the he was ascended to somewhere high is also mentioned in Quran (also scholars have different views about that that verse). I think prophet Idris is one of the most mysterious prophets ever sent by God (specillay because of his mysterious fate).

Salam. Many Sumerian clay tablets (early pictograph or later cuneiform) were stolen and taken to the Louvre, the British Museum, etc. Many of them have never even been translated. What has been painstakingly recorded on those clay tablets has been kept from us, locked away in basement storage.
