Iran government should stop these rioters asap, they shouldn’t show any mercy to them. They are destroying a lot of properties and killed many innocents including a 3 years old girl. Each 2-3 years the rioters are coming and destroying public and private properties, then blame Iran government for not doing a good job. If they want to be liberal like in the us, why don’t they go there? They can beg for Trump the terrorist to accept them.

Let's not confuse genuine protestors with these arsonists and terrorists. They are to be brutally crushed by all religious and international laws. The ones protesting over valid issues like rising cost of living have a right to peaceful protest.

Yes, that’s why I said rioters because they are not protestors. The one who is destroying properties are the rioters. I noticed the protesters are not with these people.

There are actually peaceful protests happening under police protection in many towns, because otherwise the rioters come and attack even the peaceful protests, and the security personnel protecting them.

So what you're saying is the Iranian security services have been deployed to protect the protestors from the protestors?

I read a headline that said police shot and killed 200 protesters.  I'm in the United States so I do not assume headlines or news articles are factual. Is this based on any truth or fully fabricated?

Destruction of property is a crime, but not a capital crime.  However, if they're killing innocent people they need to be stopped by whichever means is quickest.

From what I've heard from Iranis not on this site, the government has drawn the redline at arms depots at police stations and the like. These rioters were actually trying to get their hands on state stores of arms and ammunition. That is a strict no-go area anywhere in the world, whether the East or the West.

Lets wait and see. Its hard to get a full picture with the current barrage of information and misinformation.

Not at all. If anything the security personnel are showing restraint and not using force- much less discharging firearms- unless force is used from the other side. However, snipers and armored vehicles with machine guns have been deployed after the fifth columnist terrorists have begun using firearms themselves and trying to storm police and military buildings. I have video evidence, and will be happy to share it privately, but not here, in order to prevent baiting from trolls and bots.

Exactly. They are burning mosques and Quran as well, attacking children and protestors. They have to jail them for life. Just like what sayid khamenei said, they are doing what trump (la) wants.

Thank you.  So the headline is loosely based on true events, but very much misrepresenting the situation. This is what I had assumed. It's a shame the internet does not provide unbiased and accurate news.

Salam

there may be some sincere people among the writers were frustrated. I don’t believe it’s all agents nor do I believe that Israel, United States, possibly China and other powers are not involved for their own interest and agitating the situation.

But it’s a fools dream to think there will be some kind of western style US friendly democracy emerge if the current government collapses you’ll either have a military takeover or Russia or China back to government or most probably a prolonged civil war similar to Afghanistan in the late 70s to mid 90s

We need to pray daily for the leader in the revolution. Millions oppressed Shia in the me  will be slaughtered by the other school of thought once they no longer fear Iran’s might in her weapons.

Even I’ve seen some articles some of the protesters themselves we didn’t like the government admit that they don’t like the government, but if the government suddenly collapses, it’ll be worse and there’s no way the monarchists or succulent can maintain power. They say they want reform, but they’d rather live under the current government they slightly dislike than a military government or civil war.

People wake up and see that they are being played

And neither side is our friend neither east or west Islam is the best

And for us here in the states, neither liberal nor conservative. Islam is the best.

So I gather that this thing happening in Iran is just a new episode of boohoo-neda-died-so-boohoo. One has to appreciate the tolerance of the Iranian leadership who tolerate the minorities and fools who didn't take any lesson from the so recent 12 days war. Oh well. And I am still of the opinion that just building (not using) a nuclear weapon arsenal will deter the foreign devil worshiping powers hounding the state so much.

The situation of Syria is not as bleak as some people are trying to portray it.

I mean they have no military, Israel comes in and bombs them whenever they want, and has taken considerable land from them on the border - which I suspect they will try and keep.

I saw one alleged "protest" and it looked like a normal street scene. lt was the one with multiple rows of yellow taxis seen from above.

I'm seeing more videos that certainly look like large mobs.  Also supposedly stickers placed on buildings and cars with Trump's face asking him to come help.

Salaam.  Just saying what I'm seeing.  If you can post pictures or videos of the opposite, please do.  Is the internet still working in Iran?  I heard they shut it down yesterday.  Certainly wouldn't surprise me if Israel is fomenting these protests with money.

Israeli newspaper reports

The fact that Israeli press is reporting this suggests the protests failed otherwise it may still be a covert operation.

Internet represents the viewpoint of whoever controls it. Yesterday itself Twitter officially changed the Islamic flag of Iran to monarchist one. The very MSM which takes Israeli hasbara for gospel truth has not even bothered to look at the IRI's side of things.

Tell me that the way to fix the economic crisis is by-

1. Burning mosques, Hussainiyahs and madrasas.

2. Burning buses, metros and public transport infrastructure.

3. Burning supermarkets, hospitals and pharmacies with vital supplies.

4. Burning police officers alive

5. Shooting dead toddlers and young mothers of toddlers.

6. Setting shops ablaze, which in most cases are run by poor families and are their only source of livelihood.

I have sources for all of these yet you wont see it anywhere in the MSM.

It was only after they started shooting toddlers and innocent civilians that the chief of security staff said that anyone seen using a firearm or lethal weapon will be first asked to drop it, and if they don't comply, they'll be gunned down. The day before yesterday  itself they shot down a three year old girl child and a nurse who was the mother of a toddler. And they reported it as 'the regime is shooting down protestors'.

I think the protest thing in itself is not the bigger thing rather the zioclowns chest beating to the world about them is a step towards a larger aerial attack on Iran, to "free" the "people" living there. Zioslime are using so many psyops with every little stain they make on the world.

"President Trump is doubling down on his threat to attack Iran amid ongoing protests over the state of the economy and the Iranian currency plunging to record lows. Israel has wasted no time in looking for ways to fuel the unrest, with Mossad bragging that its agents are “in the field,” as some demonstrations turn into riots.

Iran-based Geopolitical Analyst Ehsan Safarnejad noted that media in the West are disingenuous about the scale of these protests, as they look to capitalize off of the claim that Iran is on the verge of collapse at any moment.

He pointed out that while Iranians do have legitimate concerns about their nation’s economy, these protests of “negligible” compared to the demonstrations Iran has seen in recent years, and the Iranian public continues to back its government… especially in the face of a possible next round of attacks from the U.S. and Israel." The disgusting apostate rioters (no, these are not wahhabis) have burnt down the shrine of Imamzadeh Muhammad ibn Musa (عليه السلام), known locally as Shah 'Sabz-e-Qaba' (The One of the Green Mantle) - the son of Imam al-Kadhim (عليه السلام) and the brother of Imam al-Rida (عليه السلام) and Sayyida Masumah (sa)- located in Dizful, Khuzistan province.

May Allah burn their hands in this world and the next.

Alhamdulillah, majority of the rioters has been arrested. The protest has ended and Iran won. I feel bad for the good Iranians who protested because they just wanted basic needs but these rioters came and destroyed everything.
