there are about two or three main ones that are narrated and reliable narrations that can be set before the actual tashudud.

A few scholars based on the narration is connecting with Wa Qunut and tashudud  hello adding the names of the 14 in denouncing their enemies it’s a more rare opinion

There are a few very odd tashudud s in Bihar Anwar as well. The most take is a short supplication after.

Would it be permissible to recite:

بسم الله وبالله وَالْحَمْدُ لله وَالْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَى كُلَّهَا لِلَّهِ

Bismillahi wa billahi walhamdulillahi wal asmaul husna kulluha lillah

"In the name of Allah and by Allah and all praise to Allah and the most beautiful names belong to Allah"?

The reason I ask is because it's very similar to:

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَ بِاللهِ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ وَ خَيْرُ الأَسماءِ لِلهِ

Bismillahi wa Billahi Walhamdulillahi wa khayrul asma il lillahi

"In the name of Allah and by Allah and all praise to Allah and good names belong to Allah".

But I for some reason it's easier for me to recite the former.

in Of itself that would be fine, unless your Marja is very precautious or literal

Regarding praising Allah at the start of the tashahhud, Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq (عليه السلام) has said that you can praise Allah with whatever befitting words you choose, there's no restriction regarding words; as for the words of praise mentioned in narrations, like Imam al-Mujahideen Zayd b. Ali (عليه السلام) used to praise Allah in the tashahhud in the words you've mentioned, they're examples for us. As for the slight variations in the wordings with same meanings in different narrations, that most probably occurs due to what the respective narrator remembered of the words, even reliable narrations/narrators preserve the meaning, not the exact wording, of the hadith.

Imam Khamenei likes to use these words for praising Allah in the tashahhud

الحمد لله كما هو أهله

as it has been reported in hadiths to be the best hamd whose virtues and rewards no angel is capable of recording.

*Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad [a] said*

“All the angels of heaven who write, cannot note the reward of a person who says Al-h'amdulillaahi kamaa huwa ahluh? Someone asked, Why is it so? Imam ((عليه السلام).) replied, (Angels do not know the reward of this statement so they will say to Allah): O Lord! We do not have the knowledge of unseen. Then God will say, 'You write the statement as My servant says, I will reward him accordingly.”
