Slow site or my Laptop?

Sometimes this site can get very slow, taking up to 5 minutes to load a new tab, just wondering if there have been other complaints similar to this or if this is my laptops fault?

Salam. Common occurrence a few times per year. When the site is going through an update, loading a page can get slow.
