As USA prohibits American citizens from joining Irans military and they would sentence you 20 years in federal prison which I'm not going to ever join Irans military , how can I move back to Iran without breaking the law in USA and not having to join Irans military ? Paying money to Irans government is against the law in USA and would cause me to go to prison for 20 years . What should I American lawfully do in order to move to Iran ?

Salam. You asked this question a few years ago. Two years of compulsory military service in Iran starts at age 18, and you are close to 31 years old now, so not in the age range for boot camp.

@Ashvazdanghe Is Iran still asking for people who missed military service to pay a huge fine?

Salam there is no problem for entering to Iran  ; which you can travel twice a year an for a total of up to three months without joining to the Iran's military service or paying to Iran's government .

Leaving the country without a service termination card by absenteeism

Another group of people who can leave the country without the need for a service termination card are those who are absentee abroad. These are people who reside abroad and are allowed to enter the country based on specific conditions and protocols. According to the Civil Service Law and the coordination made with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, those who are absentee abroad, if their period of residence outside Iran has been more than 3 years, have the possibility to travel to Iran twice a year and for a total of up to three months, and leave the country without the need for a service termination card.

for further information if you have wanted to stay longer without restriction which maybe needs joining to Iran's military  paying to government which under some conditions by help of a lawyer you can receive "Service completion card" but it needs that you find a trustworthy lawyer  by help of your relatives in Iran  after traveling to Iran .
