During ghusl I washed my ears using my fingers to go in side to get rid of dead/dry skin. I wash it again without using my finger but just the shower head. After ghusl which was couple hours after, I felt some dry/dead skin in the ears. Now I am doubting that if I got rid of the dry skin properly and what if it was an obstruction during ghusl. Is my ghusl considered valid? Should I ignore these doubts? What should I do? I do want to ignore these doubts, as previously I have been a very very excessive doubter and have get it into control, however I am doubting again and in this case I am unsure. I keep saying to myself if I’m unsure it’s fine but then my brain keeps saying but what if you are wrong…

Per Sayyid Khoy washing inside of ears and rinsing nose and mouth are mustahab not wajib

washing hands before ghusul is so no Naji’s is in the hand that touches water as they scooped well water from buckets with hands or ladle in many areas at that time

many are not understanding context of Fatwa and Hadith

Sayyid Sistani says in ruling 373 of Minhaj Assahalin vol 1

that washing the inside of the ears or nose or whatever else is considered an inner part is not obligatory

as for a scab a wound that’s healing their narrations and ruling that indicate how to cover that in wash around it or perform dry washing in extreme cases

Dead skin cells are not considered a barrier because of the normal part of the skin just like if one has a scab you don’t have to remove the scab and wash under it. You can simply wash over it if it doesn’t cause harm.

Some juris, for example Sayyid Khamenei Ra in the case of dreadlocks, had given us the answer when we worked at his office that as long as water touches the hair that touches the scalp the water doesn’t have to reach the scalp itself because in these types of hairstyles, you can’t get to the scalp through the hair which is different from our lead mentor.  Sayyid Khoy Ra who given the reply for them to shave their heads or wear a hairstyle that doesn’t impact water reaching the scalp.

as long as water reaches all parts of the body, this is fine if you’re standing in the sink, you should cut your hands under the flowing water. Take the flowing water and pour the water such that your body becomes drenched in stage is most of us get under the shower, make intention, have washed our hands and bathe before getting in there some people for precaution like to dry. It’s not obligatory, though you get back under the shower completely soak the head and face and neck and completely soak the right arm and armpit chest and back the leg and foot then do part of the head again on the left side as well as you do the right soak the arm armpit chest back legs. Some people is a Precaution wash the private parts in the backside again at the end, although it’s not obligatory for most tourist.

If you’re sure that you’re standing under and that you’re moving the different parts going top to bottom the right side top to bottom on the left side and the head and everything was completely soaked. You don’t have to fall into doubt.
