Salam everyone, how are you all? I miss everyone in here. I hope you guys are happy and safe. I graduated from university since June. On July, I found a stable job related to what I studied but unfortunately they are not paying well. I will work for this month with them, if they do not increase my salary then I will leave. I am working really hard, don't have time to do anything personal unfortunately. :(

Salaam and congratulations about graduating from college and getting your first job! I am teaching a class to some homeschooled kids to learn critical thinking, logic, and debate. The homeschool co-op we are at has 75 children... mostly Christian. We tried to build one with Muslims however it is hard for them to commit to homeschooling because they may be immigrants or refugees who look up to the American public school system or there may be too much division/mistrust in the Muslim community. Not sure why Muslims can't build this (we had a person willing to set up the homeschool co-op with the state so that each child enrolled brought in $8,000 a year from the state in public funds).  When the  Muslims passed on the opportunity I presented it to the Christians and they jumped on it regardless of the fact their group has all different kinds of Christians (Mormons, Catholics, Evangelicals, etc.) With the amount of public funding the Christians have bought a large home on 10 acres for the school.

Other than that my work and family are doing well and I am in good health alhamdulillah.

Salam

Firstly Congratulation on graduating from university (:

It's great that you found a job as soon as you finished your graduations. For some people it may take months or even years to find job related to their qualifications.

Despite not paying well, I suggest continue to working there to continue developing your skills and work history until you find something better. انشاالله God will help you find something better.

:salam:

Congratulations bro @Diaz , MachaAllah you were quick blessed with finding a first job after graduating. I would advise, like brother @Meedy said, not to leave that soon. Not only to remain there for gaining skills, but until you find better - salary and job description. Always stay on the lookout and seek what's best.

As for myself it's a bit dire, market for freelancers is a tough but alhamdellah there are things here and there.

Situation in the country seems desperate, I keep praying for the axis to go back on its feet. But those last 365 days damaged us psychologically. Fortunately I got to see family during summer and that was a great booster.

this is the common course per par. The so-called Muslim commune in the west is doing absolute nothing they’re supposed to be doing when it comes to economics helping and uplifting people providing services, etc..

We don’t have rehab we don’t have homeless shelters. We don’t have affordable schools for children we don’t have low income or affordable housing the small groups. We have do a little bit here and there, but with so many hoops and ridiculously low amount of funding most of the money isn’t being utilized the way it should’ve flat out stolen.

If you look at the work Catholic charities in the international church fund or even groups like Saint Jude are doing and then compare it to what our so-called Muslim community is doing it’s disgusting

We should’ve had hospitals in the name of the fourth guide we should’ve had homeless shelters in the name of the lady of the Damascus etc we could’ve been doing a lot more

The wealthy in our community overwhelmingly have the attitude of Ebeneezer Scrooge read his monologue about the presence in the warehouses. Our centers are tribalistic and unaccepting of anyone even remotely different, especially disabled and low income.

so do the best you can in the end it’ll be what you can do for your children and family. Don’t expect much to any help from the so-called Muslim community in a not talking about myself but one of the greatest scholars in North America who passed away and southside Chicago who had graduated the third level and taught the first three levels for years died in absolute, poverty, alone, disrespected, and disregarded

Allah help this unmah
