Bismillahirrahmanirrahim,

Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

I came across with Psalm 45 back in the days when I was learning about the Torah and Bible. After my 20s; Islam, religion, tasawwuf, mysticism and topics related to these subjects has been my greatest area of interest. So one thing lead to another and I started reading Psalms, the Book has been given to Dawood alayhissalam.

One day I saw a Christian page on social media that was suggesting Psalm 45 was about Jesus (ع). So I decided to read it fully. I was struck because I was expecting to see the prophecy about Muslims' and Christians' beloved Isaa (ع), yet quickly I was convinced it was about Nabiyyina Muhammad (ص)! When I searched the internet, I saw that I was not the only one who thought this. Here is a referance to give respect to the brothers and sisters who have written an article about that:

https://jesus-is-muslim.net/en/jesus-is-muslim/prophet-muhammad/prophet-muhammad-in-the-bible/psalm-45-prophet-muhammad/

Now I will share the chapter in Zabur, please read it if you have time and inshallah you will see that it is about our beloved Rasulullah (ص):

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm 45&version=NIV

I think the facts that show it is referring to Rasulullah (ص) are these:

1- He is the most excellent of men and He is blessed by Allah forever.

2- He is mighty, majestic, and he wields a sword. Jesus (ع) never fought against enemies of Allah's (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) religion and people of Allah, but Muhammad (ص) fought against them. As a side note I wish to compare Jesus (ع) to Imam Ali (ع) in this regard. After the caliphate was unrightfully claimed by others, Maula Ali (ع) did not wage war because He did not have an adequate number of followers, like Isaa (ع) who only had 12 Apostles as His loyal companions (most of them). Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) knows best.

3- His throne will last forever and a scepter of justice will be the scepter of His kingdom. (Maybe scepter of justice subtly referring to Imam Ali ع ?)

4- He loves righteousness and hates wickedness; therefore Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) has set Him above His companions. I believe there was none who loved righteousness and hated wickedness as much as our Beloved Rasulullah (ص), since by logic (and possibly narrations that point to this fact) he was the Masoom of Masooms. He (ص) has the highest rank of ismah. Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) knows best.

5- "Listen, daughter, and pay careful attention: Forget your people and your father’s house." I think this passage is referring to Lady Safiyya bint Huyayy, daughter of the Jewish tribe chieftain from Khaybar, who got wed to Sayyidina Rasulullah (ص) after the battle of Khaybar. Frankly I think the Lady Safiyya was descendant of Haroon (ع), but I think my point still stands. Here are some links:

https://www.islamweb.net/en/article/177531/safiyyah-bint-huyayy-descendant-of-prophets

6- "Your sons will take the place of your fathers; you will make them princes throughout the land". When I was Sunni, I could not interpret this verse. After all I thought Rasulullah (ص) did not have any sons who lived long enough. So I thought it referred to al-khulafa al-rashiduun, establishing the "First 4" as the spiritual sons of Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).a.). After becoming a follower of Shia way, I have realized that it was talking about Imam Hasan (ع) and Imam Hussain (ع). Becuase Rasulullah (ص) referred to Imam Hasan (ع) and Imam Hussain as His sons, and this is well recorded in both Sunni and Shia sources. So it makes the perfect sense and it is actually the reason I decided to write this article. I will share the sources below.

7- "I will perpetuate your memory through all generations; therefore the nations will praise you for ever and ever." I think it does not even need interpretation as we are still praising Rasulullah (ص) and his blessed Ahlulbayt (ع).

Rasulullah (ص) brought Imam Hasan (ع) and Imam Hussain (ع) with Him as His sons.

May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) never seperates our hearts from Him (STW), His Rasool (ص) and Rasulullah's Ahlulbayt (ع).

It's clearly referring to God

Psalm 45:6–7

    [6] Your throne, O God, is forever and ever.
        The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness;
    [7]     you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness.
    Therefore God, your God, has anointed you
        with the oil of gladness beyond your companions;

The comparisons you gave were very vague and don't seem like Muhammad in less you try to force it. Also Muhammad isn't God

Then, who is the one the God have annointed? Do you think it is the Father annointing Jesus?

I think that could be likely. After all it says that God anointed God

Annoinited one is generaly a reference to Imam Mahdi as

you could interpret it various ways to be the whole of the 14. I just read the verses.

.3 could be the throne of the second kingdom of Imam Mahdi as lasting till the end of time and completing the cycle of the general kingdom and the kingdom of return

.6 could be his mother leaving her people to go to the 11th guide.

Very interesting topic keep up the good work
