Yes.  That's why I shared the article here.  It's interesting when science confirms our beliefs.

I will narrate to you a Hadith and none other than I will tell you about after it. I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying: From among the portents of the Hour are (the following): -1. Religious knowledge will decrease (by the death of religious learned men). -2. Religious ignorance will prevail. -3. There will be prevalence of open illegal sexual intercourse. -4. Women will increase in number and men will decrease in number so much so that fifty women will be looked after by one man.

interesting article by not me. We have some Hadith on men declining. 

On the Hadith by brother Eddie 

very important note. In our school of thoughts ilm ul rijal wa ilm ul Dariyat we look at the isanad or chain before the matn or text. Also Sunni Hadith can not be used as a basis of our aqaidah. Only as a tool of debating the other school.

this narration is from one of the most problematic Hadith books, Bukhari.

 

bukhari said “I see no difference in praying behind a Shia and a Christian or Jew. They are not to be greeeted, married, there testimony is not accepted and their sacrafice not eaten”

Anas in that Hadith, is Anas ibn Malik who was cursed by Imam Ali as and thus is not reliable

وبه قال: (حدّثنا مسدد) بضم الميم وفتح السين والدال المهملتين ابن مسرهد (قال: حدّثنا يحيى) بن سعيد القطان (عن شعبة) بن الحجاج (عن قتادة) بفتح القاف ابن دعامة (عن أنس) وللأصيلي ابن مالك (قال: لأحدثنكم) بفتح اللام أي والله لأحدّثنكم ولذا أكد بالنون وبه صرح أبو عوانة عن هشام عن قتادة (حديثًا لا يحدّثكم أحد بعدي) ولمسلم لا يحدّث أحد بعدي بحذف المفعول، وللمؤلف من طريق هشام لا يحدّثكم غيري وحمل على أنه قاله لأهل البصرة وقد كان هو آخر من مات بها من الصحابة (سمعت رسول الله) وفي رواية الأصيلي وابن عساكر النبي (-صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ-) أي كلامه حال كونه (يقول):

(من) وللأصيلي وأبي ذر أن من (أشراط الساعة أن يقل العلم) بكسر القاف من القلة وله في الحدود والنكاح أن يرفع العلم وكذا لمسلم ولا تنافي بينهما إما لأن القلّة فيه معبّر بها عن العدم. قال في الفتح: وهذا أليق لاتحاد المخرج أو ذلك باعتبار زمانين مبدأ الاشتراط وانتهائه (و) أن (يظهر الجهل و) أن (يظهر الزنا و) أن (تكثر النساء و) أن (يقل الرجال) لكثرة القتل بسبب الفتن وبقلتهم مع كثرة النساء يظهر الجهل والزنا ويرفع العلم لأن النساء حبائل الشيطان (حتى) أي إلى أن (يكون لخمسين امرأة القيم الواحد) بالرفع صفة القيم وهو من يقوم بأمرهن، وقال أبو عبد الله القرطبي في التذكرة: يحتمل أن يراد بالقيم من يقوم عليهنّ سواء كنّ موطوءات أم لا، ويحتمل أن يكون ذلك في الزمان الذي لا يبقى فيه من يقول: الله الله فيتزوّج الواحد بغير عدد جهلاً بالحكم الشرعي، وقال القيم: بأل إشعارًا بما هو معهود من كون الرجال قوّامين على النساء، وهل المراد من قوله خمسين امرأة حقيقة العدد أو المجاز عن الكثرة؟ ويؤيد الثاني ما في حديث أبي موسى ويرى الرجل الواحد يتبعه أربعون امرأة.

Salam respectfully there is no similar tradition in any Shia sources from any infallible Imam (عليه السلام) or even prophet Muahammd (pbu) himself about decreasing number of men which just single narration from a sunni source doesn't prove this point which this narration has been misused by a fake mahdi who claims that he is from Yemen !!! which this  has been totally misinterpreted ; which this narration is an example of mixing truth with falsehood which only rational interpretation according sunni interpretation of Qastalani from  Sahih Bukhari & Muslim  is that some people will marry with  with more than four wives due to ignorance of religious rulings  or or according to sunni interpretation number of fifty maybe a virtual  number of  being too much which in other similar narration number of forty has been mentioned ; due to death of men  in wars (Fitnas) which all mentioned sins will be increased  between women as ropes of Shaiatan  according to sunni interpretation . which any fair sunni scholars doesn't  count this narration as authentic which only they say Allah knows best .

Men are disappearing because of the K-Pop craze. 

They think waxing their facial hair, wearing round-rimmed glasses, mopping their long hair over their foreheads, wearing turtlenecks and tight polyester pants, having malnourished bodies and slurping noodles and ramen will make the girls go weak in the knees for them. 

While the reality is that 300 years ago they would have been palace eunuchs in some Ottoman/Safavid/Mughal Emperor's/Amir's harem had they looked like this. 

I blame fatherlessness for this nemesis.

I think originally, but now the Koreans make plenty of Korean style ramen.  Tends to be more spicy compared to Japanese.

Interestingly, while the ratio isn't physically 50-1 right now, the mating habits are becoming skewed.  We're seeing 1 man with multiple women.  Usually men with money (athletes, finance, private equity, actors, singers, tech people) are pursued by multiple women, who are ok with with being "side chicks" and not getting married.  So long as they get a piece of either fame or fortune.

And, in the process, fewer men are having children.  At least in more westernized countries.
