Saw a comment on a youtube video, tldr, it basically ask "If Islam is perfect, why is Hadith needed? Shouldnt the Quran be perfect? If it is TRULY perfect then everything should be contained there" (paraphrasing + adding my personal question)

I know hadith is used to explain the Quran but why do God created the Quran to need hadith? (God knows best)

if Quran had included explanation rather than brief things, Prophet (PBUHHP) would have required eternal life which if people had witnessed, would have committed shirk by worshipping Prophet Muhammad (PBUHHP). He (PBUHHP) had to leave this world to shun that belief but he left some information of Quranic facts among people and shared all with Ahlebait so that in time, they keep on explaining things and their presence may work as an authority over veracity of the hadith.

This is the grand design by Allah (عزّ وجلّ) and in accordance with the Quranic verse that emphasis upon interpretation which is the hadith does.

Authentic and true narrations are part of Islam.

To those who say, if this or that is perfect or true, then why not...so and so and this and that, are fools with blind hearts. I feel like they act the same as those who came long before us, who asked for miracles if indeed you are true. And when miracles came front of their eyes, they said this was a great magic trick.

We have to think. So many times the Lord God invites mankind to think. The Qur'an is not a book you can just pick up and read with physical eyes. Many wish it was so and they're the fools. It's a recitation. The heart plays a huge role in understanding God's words. We have to do so much work on ourselves and the heart to see things never understood before. The Hadiths can help, but they can also do harm if one doesn't know how to tell truth from the falsehoods.
