In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, praise be to God, Lord of the Universe, and Peace and Blessings be upon all his Messengers, Especially Mohammed Mustafa (P.B.U.H & H.F). And may God bless his Pure Progeny.

Should we ridicule them back, or look the other way, peacefully try to educate/debate them, or something else?

There are different ways for different people. Like some are willing to listen so you should debate with them but other try to mock for fun so for those people you should either highlight the weakness in their own religion or ignore them if you do not know about their religion.

I recommend to be cautious

0. If you not sure about the sources of hadith or which one to use, avoid discussion with them.

1. Explain Misconception about Shia Islam.

2. Avoid Ridiculing them back because you don't want to be like them.

3. Explain we don't hate all companions, just we have issues with the behaviour & actions of some of them.

4. Avoid using the word hate.

5. Explain we don't hate Aisha, we have issues and problems with some of her behaviours and actions.

6. Some of them you to be very cautious that they may result in committing violence or something, some doesn't matter much evidence you give, it won't make difference.

-------

Remember extremists/brainwashed fools use our dislike to Aisha & some of the Sahabas to commit oppression against Shia.

Problems with Us shia, when we talked about Sahabas, we don't say some of them, we say it in a way that they think we dislike all of them

Another problem with us, is the way we talk about Aisha. She is Prophet wife after all. regardless of what she have done & im not defending her. We have to change the way we talk about her. Perhaps in more analytical way.

The reasons for being cautious with how we talk about these personalities is because Shia lives are at stakes. So the shia scholars/leader have to be cautious how we talk about it.

My approach is to study more about Shia Islam so as to protect and develop a deeper root system for myself in the face of adversity.

Remember, don't study to debate, study to truly find the truth, so on Qiyamah, when you're given the book it is in your right hand.
