Asalam O Alaikum.

I am really confused regarding this matter.  We put our money in the bank, in savings account, and they tell me that the profit that I'll get will be sood/interest. Now some syeds and shias mention that its ok to receive this money and use it as long as your intention is to not get sood (it doesn't natter if you receive the money your intention should be positive).

Now please can someone explain this whole concept to me like I'm a five year old and give me a very clear cut answer to this matter? Can I or can I not take the interest?  And even if the Ayatollahs say that it's ok, is it ok for me to not agree with it? Because I just can't agree with the concept of getting money that I did not earn in any way.
