I have just learned that there is an early Ismaili book from about the 2'nd century AH (8'th century AD) that is called Umm Al-Kitab like the Original Book mentioned in the Quran. I think it is interesting from a research and historical perspective, and I would like to know more about it. It is described in the wikipedia link below. So if anybody know about this. What is the context. How was it received by mainstream Shia scholars, possibly it's role in Ismaili Shia and possibly in syncretic Islamic thinking, I would like to hear about it.
Also if anybody know where I could buy a copy, either in persian language or English translation I would be happy.
