My question about Naad E Ali

Assalam O Alaikum to all brothers and sisters of this forum. My question is about Naad E Ali. As I am from Pakistan and here Naad E Ali is very famous and it is recited very much and shared very much with one another. My question is if Naad E Ali is an authentic reciting according to Islam then what is correct way of reciting it and how can one get benefits by reciting Naad E Ali?

Salam. Several Islamic scholars were asked about Nad-e-Ali dua and after two replies, the other scholars did not answer, since they probably did not have anything else to add. Remember that a dua is not wajib (required); it is up to your own personal desire whether to recite a dua or not.

Don't bother. Recite Ziarat Aminallah instead and pray two rak'at after. Gift the rewards to Imam Ali (عليه السلام) and then ask Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) by his intercession. 

I won't comment on the authenticity of the alleged 'du'a' to keep this thread from turning into a slugfest. But you can refer to the related threads on this site itself.
