Sisi gets 2 billion a year from US in Foreign Aid. That is the only reason he is still in power. Trump will threaten him to stop the foreign aid and then might even stop it. Then Sisi will tell Trump 'Since you stopped giving me money, I'm going to Iran now to meet with the govt'. Then he actually grows a backbone and does it. Egypt then becomes part of the axis of resistance. 

I know some of you will probably respond with laughing emojis, and I know it's far fetched, but I think it's possible (if only in my mind).

Your argument is compelling if you ignore the fact that the opposite scenario which you think is likley, will result in the dictator sisi being deposed and killed like gaddafi. 

I'm talking about this from a pragmatic point of view. I doubt sisi wants to be turned into ketchup by his own population.

 

Its not growing a backbone which will drive him to do this, it's cowardice of being killed. Unless he does what Jordan just did because he's a complete imbecile. Time will tell, the most likley scenario is he will out of cowardice start pivoting towards china/russia for funding.

You have a point here. We're supposed to be Khulafa on earth and to be commanding good and calling towards it and forbidding evil and abstaining from it.

This mindset is very much absent in the majority of Muslims.

In Sunnis I would say this mindset doesn't even exist anymore. The only thing that is left among them are some extreme groups, who want to dominate in order to oppress and not in order to help the oppressed.

He mentionned Iran 5 million times because atleast his country is making an effort. Most of the Muslim world has given up, what's the point of helping them solve problems when they don't care to begin with? Might as well focus on your own country that is atleast making a half effort to be an Islamic example of khulafa on this earth. This is especially the case when sectarianism plagues sunni muslims and many ignorant shias, how is this supposed to become a reality when most of the Muslim world dismisses the basic advice of people like sayed khamenaei who keep emphasizing unity and to work towards such a goal? 

 

Unfortunatley even iranians themselves are increasingly giving up, soon the entire Muslim world will have given up in trying.
