Sayyid 'Abd al-Malik al-Huthi: your opinion

What are your thoughts about sayyid 'Abd al-Malik al-Huthi?

Do you read or follow his speeches?

Wassalam, 

I like him and immensely respect him, and his family too. 

His late brother, Sayyid Hussain, and his late father, Sayyid Badr al-Din, have worked a lot to bring the Zaydi and Twelver schools closer to each other at the ideological level. 

His family, and he himself, have transformed Yemen from an American-Gulf Oildoms semi-colony to a centre of resistance, fighting for freedom from oppression, against extremely heavy odds. 

I listen to him sometimes but not very regularly.

The Umma in our time has been blessed with these Qur'anic leaders from the descendants of the Prophet ص, who emphasise the Qur'an, the jihad, the unity of the Umma's hearts and the cooperation of their hands, and the pursuit of rational thinking

the martyr Sayyid Husayn Badr al-Din and Sayyid 'Abd al-Malik in Yemen, the Sayyid Khumayni and Sayyid Khamenei and the martyr Sayyid Raisi in Iran, and the martyr Sayyid Musa Sadr and martyr Sayyid 'Abbas Musawi and martyr Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah in Lebanon, and the martyr Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr and the Sayyid Hashim al-Haydari in Iraq

May it continue and spread. Amin.

 

We always make progress when the Muslims increase their emphasis on the consensus which is explicit in the Qur'an and the emulation of the People of the Cloak ع, and minimise emphasis on doctrines that are not based on consensus

 

كتاب الله وأهل بيت رسول الله

Book of Allah and the Ahl Bayt of the Messenger of Allah

أُنزِلَتْ: {إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا} [الأحزاب: 33]. قالت: فأرسَلَ رَسولُ اللهِ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ إلى فاطِمةَ وعلِيٍّ والحَسَنِ والحُسَينِ، فقال: هؤلاء أهلُ بَيتي

The verse was revealed: **"{Indeed, Allah intends to remove all impurity from you, O Ahl al-Bayt, and to purify you thoroughly.}"** [Al-Ahzab: 33].  

She said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent for Fatimah, Ali, Hasan and Husayn, and then said: "These are my Ahl Bayt."

حب الله وحب الرسول وعلي وفاطمة والحسن والحسين يجمعنا كالأمة

The love of Allah, the love of the Messenger, and the love of Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, and Husayn unite us as one nation.

May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) grant him a long life on this hard route of struggle.
