I have very big difficulty my entire life initiating tasks . How can I be cured of this ? I feel for some reason a fear of discomfort or something.

Medications are extremely helpful
But not the only solution

Everyone’s situation is different, consultant a  mental health, professional

Medication helped me a lot

Executive dysfunction is usually a symptom of something else, have you been assessed for any neurodivergence or mental health difficulties?

Salam alaykum

Ten Commandments

1. The night before, have a single goal for the day.

2. Begin day with a step by step plan to that goal.

3. Divide your day by Salat times.

4. Identify what single achievable step you will focus on in that period between two Salat.

5. Explain to yourself how the step is a step towards gaining greater maturity & status & respect in the eyes of Allah and your loved ones.

6. Actively visualise yourself as you want to be: an executive commander. This will motivate you and compel you to refuse any other activity while you're performing that single step.

7. Du'a (supplication) and Shukr (gratitude) to Allah just after Salat for success in performing the step you're working on.

8. Relax at the end of your day, and evaluate what needs improvement, and give yourself the mental medal for demonstrating responsibility and maturity and command for the day.

9. End day with a single goal for the next, and look forward to repeating your demonstration of mastery.

10. Don't plan for disruptions, and coolly don't allow anyone to disrupt.

10. If disruptions occur and you can't escape the disruption, don't make a big deal of it - just patiently postpone your goal for one day. Patience is the name of the game, and the source of all victories.
