Salam. After urinating it's recommended to perform istibra by the known method or anything that ensures the urethra is clear of urine. Still however, miniscule drops of urine can still persist even after a long while. Since there is nothing preventing the urine from freely flowing out after it reaches beyond the sphincter, one comes to the conclusion that for a while after urinating, these droplets will continuously fall out. What is the ruling in terms of the validity of one's wudhu and the need to wash one's garments given this seems to be impossible to avoid?

I read Sistani website and here is what I found.

There are three types of liquid that come out of the male part (apart from urine and semen), and all 3 of them are clean(Tahir). Only urine and semen are Najis.

If one does Istibra and some droplets come out of the male part, it's pure and Tahir.

If one didn't do Istibra or is in doubt whether he has done Istibra or not, and droplets come out after a while and the guy is confident that it cannot be urine, it's clean and Tahir.

The problem is that I am quite confident that what remains is urine.  Given the anatomy of the male urinary system, it is hard for *all* urine to exit when voiding. As a matter of fact this residual amount is one of the reasons Cowper's fluid is produced, as a means to neutralise the acidity. The other fluids have characteristics that are particular to each, where as urine in its viscosity and appearance is different. If one were to place a tissue over the organ when dry, after istibra and istinja, and allow some time to elapse then check the tissue, trace of wetness i.e. urine will be present.

I have sadly not come across a satisfactory answer to this issue.

Salam this is Waswas from cursed Shaitan by manipulation of your mind to overdo Mustahab actions & too much thinking about purity when you are pure but you think that you are still impure .

Ws, could I then take that this small volume of liquid that seeps out afterwards is something that is excused?
