A seasonal idea

I saw this past week a photo taken in Gaza Ghetto which showed a man holding a child in burial shroud while three women stood by.

It reminded me of a Christmas Nativity Scene because of the arrangement of the objects and people in the photograph.  (0kay, maybe l can abstract to a fault).

So here is my idea: Find a photo similar to this -like in Rolling Stone, Getty images, NewsWeek ...--then make copies and/or displays with the title Gravity Scene. Be sure to properly credit the image.

Also pronounce "gravity" as "grah--vih--tee" so that it conforms to the subtle change in pronunciation to mean serious/gravitas/gravity-of-the-situation rather than indicate falling-down/attraction in grav-ih-tee.

Share this idea with people protesting the ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Ghetto. History Note: 10 November 1975 UN General Assembly Resolution 3379 "determines that Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination..."

Little posters also can make for Banski-like activity. Or put in the side window of your car.

Personal note: A decade ago, l explained on SC why l am so wary about "antisemitism". That is because l lived with a jewish sounding name and have been victimized by all sorts of harassments and crimes. This is also only my second 'critical post' on lsrael. The other was coining (as far as l know) "Gaza Ghetto" about ten years ago. Both of these are attempts to change their policies. So please remember that not all Jews are Zionists.

They tried this the last Christmas I suppose, displaying the nativity as a Gazan refugee family fleeing the genocide.
