What is the best place in the world to live, and why?

We already know the best places to visit, but I'm not sure Karbala or Mecca are the best places to live for most of us. I certainly wouldn't live in Arabia as long as it is under the Saudi dynasty.

What places have safety for individuals and families, reasonable availability of skilled and unskilled work, reasonable cost of living, social safety net, an excellent education system, free or low cost halal things to do, a clean environment, and are not ruled by tyrants who might decide to imprison or murder people in that place or elsewhere?

Sister, I don’t think there is any country that has all this at the same time. Arab countries like Qatar, Kuwait, Oman pay well for skilled workers, cost of living is dependent on you,  good education system, affordable healthcare but not great if it’s cheap

If that is true, we should make a place like this. It does not seem unreasonable. It should be a bare minimum expectation.

But how can we do that? From where should we start?

Probably in the place where conditions are closest to where we want to end up, and then build from there, though I suppose it is possible anywhere, but more work when there is more that must be changed.

Salam according to westerner viewpoint all muslim whether Sunni or Shia rulers are tyrants which western countries are ignoring  tyranny of their so called Muslim allies likewise KSA  but on the other hand they are exaggerating & use unfair labels against any muslim leader who opposes them likewise their stance against Iran by accusing Iran to "imprison or murder people in that place or elsewhere" while they have no issue with it about their so called muslim allies likewise ally even consider it as their right of managing their internal matters by themselves  while always they are trying to interfere in affairs of Iran & other muslim countries & leaders from outside who are opposing them .

These conditions can be found more or less in any muslim country which major difference is about system of government & political leadership .

Yes, we all know this, but it's worth repeating for the benefit of visitors to this site who are somehow unaware.

I'm not convinced that my children would be safe in several muslim majority countries, especially my youngest, who is mostly non-verbal and his maturity is much lower than his physical age.

I know someone who has a son exactly like yours and where she had trouble in a Western country, so she went to Lebanon to get him better help as it took time in western countries to do so if I remeber. Lebanon now is obviously out of the question, it's a warzone, the middle east in general will turn into a hotbed for a local war, so avoid it for now, hopefully Ukraine Russia doesn't make the west into a hotbed of war too.

A lot of westerners have moved to turkey in recent years. It is an upper middle income (by global standards), emerging economy. I’m not sure how one goes about getting jobs there, but they are fairly liberal with visas and if you can do remote work, it’s an option to consider. I visited Turkey for 14 days about a decade ago and it’s a beautiful country.

Visited it 8 years ago and it looked beautiful, but I insulted erdogan too much over what he did in Syria, so I'm not stepping foot there anytime soon.:D

Salam as I know both of  Iran & maybe Turkey((Turkiye)  have a caring system & organization for this kind of children which both countries are beautiful which  Turkey has some pros as @Shaheed786 has said which is a part of European countries so therefore is favorite plce for westerners but on the other hand  has cons of issue of limiting Shia muslims & cooperation with zionist Israel against Palestinians which few anti zionists oppositions have been suppressed by it's government but on the other hand Iran has cons  which it  can be cheaper than Turkey which supports Shia muslims  but unfortunately it has a sophisticated Visa policy which fly travels to Iran have been limited from european countries due to it's tensions with zionist Israel for supporting Palestinians which also still Americans & Israelis & British citizens can't travel to Iran directly  except people who have dual citizenship of Iran or another country also Iran has a too negative image in MSM which at  end of day You must compare both countries by traveling to these countries by yourself & examining which one is better for you which you can ask more information about turkey from @islamicmusic who is native resident of Turkey (Turkiye).
