Asalaamu Alaikom.

When in the Grave we are asked who is your Prophet and who is your Imam; which Imam should we say? 

I mean all Imams are our Imams, is the meaning who is your Imam, as in who is the Imam of your time? 

Do I reply Imam El Mehdi, may Allah hasten his reappearance? Or Imam Ali peace be upon him? Or do I say all of their names?

The angels who come to momin are named Mobashir and Bashir. Ameerul Momineen (عليه السلام) comes in the graves to help His Shia with the answering of the questions. Moula Ali (عليه السلام) does not pay attention to those who were His enemies. Here are the questions which will be asked in the grave and their correct replies.

1. Who is your Lord?

Allah is my Lord. 2. What is your religion? Islam is my religion. 3. Who is your prophet? Muhammad (عليه السلام) is my prophet. 4. Who is your Imam & wali? Ali (عليه السلام) ibn Abi Talib (عليه السلام) is my imam and wali. 5. What is your book? Quran is my book. 6. What is your Qibla? Kaaba Khana is my Qibla.

Also, if you have read the recommended acts when a person is buried, it mentions to recite all of the twelve Imams along with Prophet Muhammad (PBUHHP).

@Fatimya We are supposed to say that the last Imam (عليه السلام) is our Imam when in the grave.
