Do Jafari and Ismaeli Shias pray the same way?

I follow the Jafari Fiqh, and the closest shia mosque to my house is Ismaeli. However there is also a Jafari mosque that is much further away from my house. I was wondering if the prayers Jafaris and Ismaelis do are the exact same or not, and can I go to Jummah at the Ismaili mosque if I am Jafari, or would it be better for me to drive all the way to the Jafari mosque?

Bohra Ishmali  salah is very similar to us, and they also have Salah Jummah at Dhur Time. They are Dawudi Bohra mainly with some Alawi Bohra. Very small numbers of Sulyami Bohra. They have 21 Aimmah

Nizari Ishamli have different salah and their Jummah is Friday at 6 pm ish. These are followers of Agha Khan. They have 49 Aimmah.

Better to drive to Ithna Ashari Center

Maybe once in awhile for big events drive to the Jafari mosque but for prayers I think it is ok to go to the closest mosque to you as long as you are respected.

:salam:

Jamaat khanas are not mosques. They only accept people who do bay`ah to the Agha Khan and they do not perform namaz, at least the immense majority.

However, I remember there are still some ismaili mosques in East Africa.

There are also Tayibi Ismailis who have regular mosques and perform jamaa namaz. I think they are mostly in India, and Yemen.

So unless it is one of the two above, I guess you will not be allowed to pray as intended.

Be careful about going to mosques of another sect. Over time you may take ideas from them, especially after getting to know them and becoming fond of them. If you have to: Just go in, pray, and leave.

Just my opinion from what I've seen. A lot of people have left Shia Islam after changing up their environment for a worse one, or if they don't leave their faith is impacted.

I don't know, try asking someone whose advise you trust.
