What should be Iran's Policy towards Israeli agression?

Recently, I have been watching a video, where it was said that Iranian leadership is divided whether to go on to war with Israel or to fight a proxy war. However, if we really focus on what objectives Iran has achieved since the fall of Saddam till the rise of Houthis in power, one can make assumptions as to why Iranian delay to war makes sense. After the fall of Saddam Hussain, Iran played an important role in driving out most of the US force out of Iraq and in the meantime, it eliminated ISIS out of Iraq and Syria and helped Houthis to gain power. Now, if Iran decides to go against Israel one on one, there will rise many elements to overthrow the influence of Iran over the regions which have been able to curb the terrorist activities within those regions, thus, Iran will have to fight a war on multiple fronts for which it require both resources and man power. Not only that but once the Iran is on the brink of exhausting its resources and man power, regional elements will be supplied with weapons to end the Iranian influence on the countries which it saved.

It is for this that I think that Iran should save itself for the most appropriate time to deal a death blow to Israel and until then it should continue supporting Hezbollah and other militias within the respective regions. What is your views on that?

Muslim States Should Cut Off Israel’s Lifeline: Ayatollah Khamenei

The Leader stressed the importance for officials in the Islamic countries to sever all ties with the Zionist regime in order to cripple its power, Khamenei.ir reported.

"That which is in the hands of the officials of the Islamic countries is to cut off the lifeline of the Zionist regime. Islamic countries should cut off their political and economic relations with the Zionist regime and they should also refrain from supporting this regime," the Leader stated.

“Despite the inadequate conduct of the officials of Islamic countries and despite all the difficulties, as stated in the Quran, ‘God is with the righteous people and wherever God is, there is victory',” Ayatollah Khamenei underlined.
