Would it be possible for someone to enter heaven or be good if they have the wrong desires. For example Im trying to be good but my only reasons to go to heaven are selfish and wrong wishes that people shouldn't have. I know alot of time people say it's your intention that matters not the effort but if I have effort but horrible intentions is it ok?

I do not think that wishing for a reward for being good is being selfish. It is actually promised outcome that you will have and its ok to wish for that. However, you can wish for more than that that is to say obtaining Raza of Allah (عزّ وجلّ). There are always higher grades to piety and the most noble of that is to obtain nearness of Allah (عزّ وجلّ) to the extent that wherever you go, Allah (عزّ وجلّ) will make other creation subservient to you.

Salam your intention has no problem although it maybe reduces level of your actual reward which intention of praying for entering heaven/Paradise based based on selfish intentions has been described as prayer of Merchants by Amir al Muminin Imam Ali (عليه السلام) which is higher than prayer of slaves due to fear of not going to hell be on the other hand is lesser than prayers of sincere  pious beliver who are praying just for love of Allah.

Amiral Mu’minin ((عليه السلام)) stated, “Some people worship the Almighty Allah in hope of reward; this is the worship of merchants. Some worship Allah for fear of punishment; this is the worship of servants. Still some others worship the Exalted Allah for thanking Him; and this is the worship of the tolerant.” [Biharul Anwar, Vol 41, p. 14]

He has also stated, “O Allah! I do not worship you for fear of punishment or in hope of reward; rather, I know you worthy of worshipping so I worship you.” [Biharul Anwar, Vol 41, p. 14]
