Guest صالح
السلام عليكم I have been asked a question that states, “How do you know what you are worshipping is real? It could be a mythology just like what the greeks have been worshipping for thousands of years.
Advanced Member samy Posted September 18 Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 18 (edited) peace and blessings on you, I think the best answer is in sacrifice. What can make a person sacrifice so much? For Christians, it is the sacrifice of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him). What he stood for, all the pain he went through, his patience. For Muslims, the sacrifice of our Nabi Muhammad and his family (peace and blessings on him and his family) and their loyal companions. What they stood for and went through, their patience in all the sufferings. It is only for the love of the one God can a people suffer so much and die for it forever impacting generations till the end of time. Al-Baqarah 2:207 | وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَشْرِي نَفْسَهُ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللَّـهِ ۗ وَاللَّـهُ رَءُوفٌ بِالْعِبَادِ | And there is the type of man who gives his life to earn the pleasure of God; and God is full of kindness to (His) devotees. Advanced Member Jhon Steve Posted September 19 Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 19 How does the love for one God inspire such deep sacrifice and patience across generations in both Christianity and Islam?

I mean seriously, even the Greeks believed they were myths full of fiction! thus they're known as "Mythology". Did the Greeks have a Prophet like Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) or his Wasi like Ali (عليه السلام)? Books are full of the reality they lived. I'll mention what Sayed Ammar Nakshawani once said in Imam Ali's (عليه السلام) series of Majalis: I found Allah on 19th of Ramadan, they said how? I saw a man killed in his sujood and the first thing he did after being struck was give water to his killer, whoever that man worships, I want to worship because if worshiping a God makes Ali ibne Abi Talib (عليه السلام) Ali, I want the God of Ali ibne Abi Talib. If worshipping God, whatever God's name is, name me any name, if worshipping a God made Ali ibne Abi Talib (عليه السلام) that humble, I want the God of Ali.
